About 800 meters away from my house there is a hockey arena and some other place owned by Don Cherry and I think he comes over here sometimes. It was at the traffic light just outside the arena where (I suspect) he pulled up next to me and I looked at the guy and he looked so much like him, he was next to me, I think it was him, not too many guys have a white goatee. I looked at the people behind me to see if they were reacting some way to him (if that was him) because you would see others reacting somehow , but with the rainy weather and all the water on my rear window, I couldn't see clearly.
But I think it was him or else a very good look-alike.
Oh and OT....I think he should stay, I think atleast until a Canadian team wins the Stanley Cup again. | |

I like Bob Cole, but the past few seasons, it seems that he tends to take little....vacations in the middle of the broadcast. Starting to remind me a little of Howie Meeker. Howie once said that he knew it was time to "hang 'em up", as far as broadcasting goes, when he was in the middle of a sentence and forgot what he was trying to say!! | |
