After getting my kilt yanked up by someone who thought I had shorts on underneath and got the shock of their lives when they found out I was telling the truth. I also had some women comment that it was obvious I was going commando because the tackle was swinging all around in loose fitting pants.
I agree with Red that in the summer months, it should be a requirement of loose fitting clothes, especially in the tropics like South Florida where the heat and humidity are in a race to 100, and fresh air can cool the area and dry the sweat.
I would also agree that some of the previous post responses were asinine to say the least.
Can anybody explain the equestrian angle???? Is it because riding breeches are very tight and would show VPL's that could cut butter? | |

Depends on the situation.One a first or even first few dates,I'd have to say that Id be under the impression that the woman is a harlot and it would put me off from seeing her any further.If i was in a relationship with someone and they did Id enjoy it as long as it wasnt a formal event or an event involving either person's family.That is going commando under a skirt or dress.
If it were jeans I wouldnt care at any point and would encourage it for many reasons.

I was in high school when I had a nurse practioner tell me that it is healthier to wear stockings and a slip than to wear pantyhose and/or panties with dresses. Of course I am not saying slips work with miniskirts, of course pettipants/tap pants are best with them. I do wear the skorts, plus I do too much yoga and like to sit cross legged if I am sitting somewhere relaxed.

You kind of can't win with any panties under riding breeches due to a combination of the panty lines, heat, chafing and of course...wedgies. 
No matter what you try to wear underneath, you run into one of the above problems so the product really isn't a bad idea at all. You really don't want to go purely commando in that situation so it's not a bad solution. | |

Depending on what a guy is wearing, it's usually alot more noticeable if his "package" isn't being contained at all and it's pretty obvious when a guy is aroused.
And no...of course I'm not intentionally going around looking all the time but sometimes it's kind of hard not to notice.
