| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 1/10/2007 10:06:12 PM | simply because I have green eyes, and the 29 is what age I was when I created that user name with my email. I do get a lot of people asking me if it was because of a Lonesome Dove character... he did use the same name, however, years ago when I met my then husband's grandpa, he said I was a regular ol peaeye, and when I asked, he said years ago that was the name they gave people with green eyes.. peas are green.. lol I guess thats why the old timers came to that name.. anyhow, I thought it was kinda neat... | |

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 1/11/2007 3:24:47 AM | | My online screen name I chose because of the work I do (nursing) so msnursinya it was. The nickname my family calls me is Flame. The reason behind that is is because when I was 5 days old my grandpa picked me up and I cryed so hard I turned so red that my dad looked at me a said she looks like a flaming ball of fire and it stuck. So I have been flame for 35 years. | |

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 1/14/2007 8:31:26 AM | | I chose phoenix about 5 years ago when my husband had an affair with a coworker and we eventually divorced. I was devastated and it took me a while to get myself back to where I needed to be, like the phoenix rising from the ashes. It sounds a little corny I know but it reminds me that come what may I can get through it. | |

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 3/24/2007 4:49:55 AM | Sorry I rarely see these and then are often old, I will show my true age (real pictures though) if I says how I picked my nickname?
There was a weekly show long ago that Aaron Burr was the star of besides his most popular role in Perry Mason. He was a detective who was in an eccident or a bullet I forget which, but the show was called Ironsides! Then the 53 actually matches two things at once now, I bet that rarely happens to most of at all??

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 4/6/2007 1:18:37 AM | I am a Writer. My name is Tiger BlackHawk. Why? Because I am also a bit crazy.
::explains:: BlackHawk is a fictional Character of a book of mine. He is an Evil Assassin. He goes around robbing from the rich.. "Killing them" as he does it and he gives to himself.
Tiger is a good Assassin. He builds a city and gives all his riches to his citizens.
Later in the book it is discovered that the two men, "Tiger and BlackHawk" are actually one person in the same. In the book he has a split personality. LOL
I start writing Poetry Online. I needed a name to sign the Poems with and one night used Tiger BlackHawk. Over night my name became Tiger BlackHawk. Several readers indicate they think its a cool name. So its what I write under now.
And no its not my Real Life name. But I have grown a little attached to it. Like I said, I am a tad crazy. But gotta admit it isn't that bad of a name. Though I kind of feel like a stuffed kitty everytime a woman calls me Tiger.
I only tell people my real name if I am interested in getting to know them, or if I consider them a friend.

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 5/8/2007 8:36:01 PM | all the names I've used my first was part of my name and email account, the second read the profile was to get women that didn't read the profile to read it first. My next was hi my name is Brian, because I kept forgetting to tell the girls my name. and Fourth only the shallow, because it makes the joke.
My real nicknames are big church (my initials are BKC and I never went to church in boot camp) Superman, because I worked 70 hours a week, went to college for 16 credit hours and still managed to pull off at least 12 hours on the dance floor, all why trying to build up my own business.
Friends also call me woody and bucky

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 5/12/2007 11:52:28 AM | | LOL I’m showing a little geek-ness by admitting this but mine came from Star Wars (Empire Strikes Back). Han Solo was making a play for Princess Leia and just before he kissed her she called him a scoundrel. I added the lone star part because I’m from Texas. | |

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 9/11/2007 3:52:12 PM | Evidently, I'M not very imaginative, either. I tried other names, but they were either already taken, or involved characters that the website's software wouldn't handle, or were "forbidden" for some reason. By the time I got down to "TxShooterGuy", I was pretty much out of ideas.
It describes me, in that I live in Texas, I'm a dedicated shooting-bum, and I am male. Okay, perhaps I'm not the most imaginative male shooter in Texas, but the name still works.

| Why or How Did You Choose Your Nickname Posted: 9/11/2007 7:31:16 PM | | My nick name started a long time ago when I first started talking on the CB. I was looking for a handle that was origional, and one night I was listening to a Charlie Daniels CD, and the song "Midnight Wind" came on. It pretty much described the life I was living at the time, I was a bad bad boy. I'd never heard anyone useing that name, and started useing it on CB. All my trucker friends like it and I like the way it sounds, so when I started on the computer, I held on to it. | |
