DONT SEE THE POINT. NOTHING GOOD CAN BECOME OF THEM

First off people were killin each other in mass before guns and they will be doing it after. Guns arn't the problem its idiots. That being said...

OP, I would want the same things I expect from a male owner. Proper training and storage area.

same goes for the cardboard 1/2 gallon OJ cartons...leave 'em about half full and when you hit 'em at 150 yds with a 30-06, they shoot about 10 feet in the air and there's almost nothing left of the carton.

hell yea man, me and my old man used to sight in our AR-15 and SR-25 on rocks 200+ yds away. even a .223 can make a rock turn to pieces. my favorite thing is when you take a .44 magnum hollow point to a chipmunk. we have em runnin round our yard like crazy so they make great target practice. shoot one with a .44 mag. one time and see what happens ahaha.

CENO: Are you old enough to have a gun? Do you know which end is the trigger vs the barrel?

Let me give you a bit of advice before you start categorize people w/ guns, and before you personally use one.
#1 take an anger mgmt class.
#2 take a gun handling class (NRA)
#3 Start out w a pellet gun so you don't hurt yourself the first time out taking on bad asses like your self.

It's major plus if a woman knows how to handle a firearm. Even more-so if she requests to be seated facing the entrance when we go out to dinner. ;)

I would not have a problem with it at all. Being a retired law enforcement officer, an ex-Marine & raised in mostly rural country settings, I grew up with weapons of all sorts around.

Yes, there are countries that have never allowed their citizens to own firearms & thus many do not have the problems that other countries do with illegal guns. There in lies the biggest misconception. ILLEGAL firearms are a serious problem, not only in the USA, but other places as well! The vast majority of legal gun owners never have occasion to use them except for recreation, hunting or other legitimate uses. Like self defense, RARELY!

However, since firearms have been a part of life in the United States since it's conception, taking away people's right to own them is only begging for trouble! The criminal element is never going to give up theirs, (they don't register theirs!). Henceforth, if the citizenry are denied the right to own at least a modicum of the firepower arrayed against them, they are merely easy prey for the lawless ones who still have them!

Personally, I wish the white man had not brought firearms to this continent & used them to kill my ancestors & steal their land in the first place! It happened though. To deny that would be foolish. Just as denying that there are a lot of bad people in this world, armed to the teeth & ready & willing to use those arms for evil would be foolish.

I too live in a small town where we don't feel the need to lock our doors. I can assure you that there are reasons for that. We have two things that the bad guys don't seem to be comfortable around. That being "Dogs & Guns". Also, everyone knows everyone around them & looks out for their neighbors interests as well as their own.

If you live in such a place, or in a country where you do not have the problems that some face, consider yourself lucky, but don't jump too quickly to judge that which you know little or nothing about, please. "Walk a mile in the other man's moccasins before you judge his beliefs". Then if you don't agree with his viewpoint; well, heck, you'll be a mile away with a new pair of moccasins.

So, if I meet a lady with a gun, I'm going to make sure she knows how to use it safely & responsibly, before we go hunting together.

Live long & prosper Y'all. SEMPER FI.

My opinion? A well armed society is a polite society. Former Army. Was trained in the use of various arms. I'm also a corrections offer, and have been trained in the use of firearms. If you do not know which end of the weapon the bullett comes out of, get some training, or, drop the weapon.

I've been a shooter for over 20 years.I own handguns, rifles and shotguns. To me there is nothing sexier then seeing a pretty young girl on the range shooting and having a good time. The shooting community is the only one thats not sexist and men would trip over themselves to offer help to any woman that needed it.The more women in the shooting sports the better as all of these useless gun laws and the idiotic gun registry was started by womens groups. If I meet a woman that likes guns and is into shooting that's one major thing we have in common. But it also comes down to where you live.If she lives in Liberal, cappucino drinking pro gay Ontario you won't find a woman like that there.I'm an Alberta cowboy and there are women like that around here and god love em.Its nice to know she can protect herself if I'm not there and not end up a another victim. There must some kind of appeal to men cause they sell videos of bikini clad women shooting machine guns and when you look at the mens faces all you see is a big smile.

I've owned a gun since 1983 or so.....a police revolver, smith & Wesson - model 29 -38 special.......it's a good weight for me, I don't circle for quite some time.....I love target shooting

My ex husband was very prone to pulling out a gun to settle an argument. I have never even considered it.....and I will most likely never get a concealed weapons permit, but it does feel reassuring that I can protect myself here at home if I am forced to....

BTW, I used to be an excellent shot, it's been awhile since I've been target shooting, hopefully I haven't lost my skills.....

I'd like it.

I'm tired of having to explain my "hobbies" to women who don't see a reason to shoot/blow up things for entertainment.

Not too crazy about it. I don't have a gun. Not a hunter or target shooter so I don't need a gun. I sure don't care for women with guns, unless she's in law enforcement for a career.
