| Why do most guys NOT SMILE in there pix??
Posted: 3/31/2005 5:14:48 PM | Well... let's see... my most recent photos were taken for my mortuary college graduation. I had this idea, the funeral director post, very serious and educated - looking. It worked, maybe made me look a little older. All I know, is hiding a smile can be a gift... because if it's nice, and you show it unexpectedly... than it's a knockout. P.S.- Most people are on this site so they have more of a reason to smile. | |

Why do most guys not smile? I have no idea. Maybe you are just imagining it...
Or maybe a great number of men feel they look better not smiling, maybe they are sad or lonely or some other way unfulfilled in life. | |

I smiled once when they took a photo for my passport. Got frisked at every airport for 5 years after that. | |

As for my pix that are in my profile yep they were taken by a guy also !!And very hard to smile and look sexy with another guy doing the picture taking !!LOL
Now I do have older pix's that were taken by ladies where I am smiling but then all you ladies would be upset as the pix wouldn't be a recent one !! So unless theres some pretty lady interested in takin my pix it's kinda hard to be looking at a guy who's snapin your pix &tryin too look sexy for you ladies !! | |

I make that conscious effort to make sure I am not smiling and insure that my lower jaw is lowered and jutted out to make me look more alpha-maleish in photos... just as a favor for the ladies who would otherwise miss their chance to experience my studliness.
I have also been known to attach the prosthetic neanderthal forehead just for the sake of my art. | |

Posted: 5/10/2005 9:59:50 AM | some guys are not smiling because they tend to be ashame of thier smile showing thier teeth and if some have teeth missing that adds to it as well. I will state I have no teeth that are real in my head but the plates I wear are what I use. I just personally don't like having a picture taken. I never have even as a kid. And as a proir post stated it is different when you are caught laughing and smiling from a lovely lady doing the photo. When I do one of myself with a smile showing any teeth I feel the phony in it and it shows. Oh and I absolutely refuse to have one done with no teeth and laughing. See a lot of ladies want guys with all thier teeth so when I see that I just shun away from them. even tho when I had mine removed it was a matter of my life or. So I just tend to not smile for photos. And as like an earlier post the ones I do have are earlier and I prefer to use an up to date photo. Or the photo is with another person and I am not here to show any ex I may have had in the past.
