Just don't ever bash the chicks again K? I go on CMT and stick up for them, they filled the Air Canada center twice 2 weeks ago. tickets were going on ebay for 5 times the price, they could have probably filled ACC for the week, they are back and better than ever and when you say they are so last decade you sound like your a hater from Texas.
I'm not one to hold a grudge, still do like you so, I'll unblock you, I'm over it...hope you can forgive me. :)
Oh yeh, I figured out what I'm going to do now, I'm going to get a fake tattoo, you can get them that last 2 weeks and I can wash it off when I see my Mom at Christmas. I've decided to get my belly button pierced instead.
The chicks didn't do the song you mentioned, but they did Sin Wagon which is very good and also about me right now, I also love "Not Ready To Make Nice" since neither am I AND the music is way better than it used to be, it has real emotion in it now, not just country bubble gum. | |

I don't see the attraction but I think its somewhat fashionable for some and a statement for others. The sad thing is when fashions change and your opinions change the stamp is permanent. If you want the stamp till your 60+ then I guess its good for you. You might consider also if your looking for a guy, you might miss a nice one because he doesn't like tattoos. I know your asking because you're still wondering about it. The choice is yours of course. Good luck
my opinions rarely change and I feel so strongly about the Chicks and what they represent that I think I would be OK explaining to my nurse in a nursing home at the age of 87 (if I make it) who they are and why I've branded my foot as a simbol of my love for them. I know it sounds silly but they really have helped me a lot with their music, their strength gives me strength, they show me you can screw up and get back on the road etc. doesn't matter what people say or think of you, if you believe in yourself. I've just gotten so much from them. I hope I meet them someday. I'm a die hard and it won't end.
still debating, the real thing that is holding me up is my Mom, she'll lose it. I'm 36 but she's still boss when it comes to some things. She's a very strong woman and I don't like to go against her, or at least not let her know I have gone against her and a tat would be hard to cover, I'll be at the beach with her sometime, can't wear socks in the summer.
to the guy that said tat's take the purity out of a woman, sorry to let you down but I think that happened to me a long long time ago. :P | |

He regrets it, but he still got several more... ones he designed or had designed, that he's quite happy with. I'm pondering getting one or two myself, I just need to make up my mind. I don't think a woman with a tattoo (even one above the butt) is a tramp... I find it sexy, myself. I find it sexier if it's someone with a tattoo that's thoughtful... I don't know how big the one you're contemplating is, or where precisely, but I imagine it won't be that noticeable. I say go for it... as someone mentioned earlier, they're not really permanent anymore. Or you could try a henna tattoo, see if you can get used to it first... | |

Posted: 11/13/2006 9:11:54 PM | You see the tattoo on the eighteen year old girls who think they're rebelling on the lower back. You see the tattoos on women on the nape, ankle etc and you'll usually notice that they're a lot more original/better planned.
If you want a tattoo, I can't reiterate enough how important it is that you do it for yourself, so you don't have to embarrassedly tell your children how mummy wanted to do something cool.
I have one- a celtic sun with runes on either side. I don't regret it, I won't regret it and I'm planning three others. Last word- they hurt like heck, so if you're going make sure that you have someone willing to drive you home. Between having my wisdom teeth pulled and the tat, I think the tat hurt more.

I like a few bands (the music) myself but personally, I wouldn't follow any of 'em that close. My reality is they're all people just like the rest of us. Listening and possibly adopting and maybe enlarging on anyone else's perception is one thing, placing people on a pedestal is another... So, If you MUST, I would say, don't do it just because you were touched and had a few out of body experiences at concerts regardless of who was on stage. There are other ways to express one's self and/or accomplishments...
Beside's... From what I can see from here, I'm sure alot men think you look good just the way you are despite what you may think of yourself...

If it were me I wouldn't be associating with the Dixie Chicks cause I can't stand their music. Its unfortunate...I guess, but not really. I'd much rather listen to "Flowers of Scotland" or "Scotland the Brave" (both instrumental bagpipe songs) full blast in my truck and go deaf that way rather than listening to the dixie chicks...but to each their own. As for the attraction issue...if there is one? no...tattoos are alright, just depends on how tasteful they are
you could be like Bam and get a penis and testicles hot branded on your rear end but...I'd advice against it. It would hurt less than listening to the Dixie Chicks I would imagine | |

I have one on my upper back, and one that covers quite a bit of my left upper arm. I know some guys are turned off by them, but I wouldn't want those guys anyways. And I find that when they know why you got the tattoo, or if the tattoos are well done then people like them even more. I still plan on getting a few more. I realize I love the artistry and decoration of them, though I can't bring myself to get a peircing (besides my ears, which my mom had done to me when I was young).
So I think women with a well done tattoos are sexy. PLUS i give them props, because they hurt reealll bad. I like men with tattoos too, also, as long as they are well done. | |

I admit lots of girls have tattoos on their back, its probley because if they dont like it its easier to hide than havin one on ur arm or something. there not many places girls can have tattoos that dont look like their coverd in them. thats like saying boys/men with tattoos on the legs are wankers. its a personal choice to have a tattoo if you like them have one if you dont like them well dont have one, simple as. if your going to have one do it for yourself donty be worried that a bloke aint gunna like it, who cares! Do I have to ride at the back of the bus? I thought we had passed the stage of discrimination because of color, because that's what ink is...just another beautiful color.
