ummm, i think our bodies are naturally made beautiful. And as the fact that everybody seems to have tattoos, I, myself do'nt wanna get one. I wanna be unique.
I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE STATEMENT HOWEVER NOT EVERYONE HAS A TATTOO! I certainly don't! Nor do I want one. And being ex Navy I certainly had plenty of chances. Also riding motorcycles there are plenty out there that do. And yes like others on here I find them trashy and something of a 'lower class' type person would have. And just like 95% of cigarette smokers who regret ever starting. 95% percent of those with the Tattoo regret getting it 20 years down the road.... especally when those nice lines start to widen and the pigment goes and it looks like some black and green splosh on your arm and you can't tell if it was a drawing of a flower drawing of a clump of boogers on your butt cheek. Nope the laser can't remove them all.
I just don't see someone classy with one. At lesast when I picture my dream girl. | |

Personally, I'm not against a woman having a well-done tattoo that she really likes. On the other hand, what bothers me is the seeming "addiction" to the things! It's rare that I find a woman who is content with only one. Once she gets the first one done, she's already talking about getting another, and then another, and then ....
At some point, it just seems like it's "overdoing" it. And that is probably what leads some guys to make all the negative comments, and associating tattoos with "trashy women".
And just like it doesn't show much "good taste" in artwork to buy any old piece of art off the shelf and throw it up on your living room wall - it doesn't impress me much when a gal just picks some tattoo out of a book. If you're going to permanently etch this artwork to your own skin - I think it should be some very nicely done, original artwork! | |

There are companies now that have rules governing things like "tats" that the public and clients can see. They can ask you to cover them and that can be hard when hot, or styles are such that you see more skin and the "tats".
I enjoy well done "tats" on both women and men, and have some myself, but only for those I care to share them with. Women with ones well done on the small of their back, or on the butt cheek, under the front bikini line, upper thighs, both inner and outer......all can be very very sensual and sexy.......

that the 50% of people who have tats are wishing they never did.
And where might I ask, did you find THAT stat?? Readers Digest?
I think girls with tats are hot (maybe I am a little biased)  ... and as a matter of a fact, I think guys with tats are yummy too, as long as they aren't ALL over the place, I like the kind you can cover up if you need too.
But really, it's on you, so who cares what other ppl think or don't think of your tat? If they don't like you because of something YOU choose to do, then tell them to go get bent, they aren't worth the time anyways IMO. | |

My own personal opinion is that people seem to get them as more of a status symbol ( I’m wild and sexy, I’m a bad A$$) then for meaning.. you can pretty much date people by there tattoos. If I ever got one it would be dateless and have great meaning. | |

I don't believe that you qualify. There are many who
do not have tattoos...so we would have a significant number of
"single one of it's kind"(s) out there...it counter-acts itself.

may I remind you that the next "classy" lady you meet up with just may surprise

I have no idea exactly where you are getting your statistics from but they are
most definately misleading you. Many a elder person I've seen & spoken with
have no regrets whatsoever of having gotten them. 20 years down the road,
they all are left wishing they'd have gotten more...instead of the "just one" they
did get. So your percentage of those regrets prove to be false.
As for your other exaggeration...yes, they do have a tendancy to blurr a bit
over time...but not to the extent that you have described & not if you have a
highly reputable tattooist doing them.

That depends on the tattoo...and the physician removing them.
It CAN be done successfully.
I just don't see someone classy with one. At lesast when I picture my
dream girl.
...the reason being...because you have a closed mind to your idea of your
dream girl.

Who the fug are you, tattoo from fantasy island? You know nothing about me and I am far from a snob.. I grew up in the 3rd toughest city in America. And I work in one of the richest citys in the US.. So I know both sides of the coin. I know what the streets are like, I know tattoo artists, and I have a very high IQ. In fact most of my friends have multiple tattoos.
And no they where not as accepted as they are now days.. They held a stigma. Sailors, bikers, prisons.. the parlors where conciderd dirty places in the bad parts of town. In other cultures it’s different.. Samoa and other island countries have them as part of there culture.. Japan it was very bad to have one and they hide them. Today if someone has one it doesn’t hold the same stigma that it once held and the shops are clean and even in the good parts of town.

I have a tatoo and several piercings myself. My rule with tatoos will always be- as long as it cant be seen in a formal gown, then i'm good. piercings can be taken out- no problem. but when you go to a fancy formal event, and you have a huge tatoo hanging out, you may regret it.
I say go for it... if you havent already.
otherwise, i'm not sure why, but i find sleeves VERY attractive. i just love them. | |

They fake these polls all the time. I know they are faking them because no one is asking me or my relatives what we think. So how you get a true estimate?
How many people with Tattoo's has been asked to fill out a questionare?
Right now every one with a Tattoo that has filled out a questionare should reply and say what they checked off on the Regret area... I state that because I doubt you'll find a single person that has ever participated in a survey. So stop creating Fake numbers or accepting Fake Polls that others pretend they made. | |

Most of the time you can have them look at it and it may not cost you anything..Is there a chance that you would like a cover up?I know if you talk to any tattoo artist they won't charge you to look at it..Somr do have regret's I have never said anything in regard's to that it happen's.If you have decent health insurance they may eat some of the cost to remove it....Good luck | |
