One thing you all have to remember. Of course we all want these meets to happen in our own area's I mean really,,who likes to drive that far and have to maybe get a room for the night? But,,if we are all serious about meeting other people,,, some people are going to HAVE to make that drive! I drove way out to Flint this past summer for a get together,,,and if you get one in Lapeer on my night off,,ill drive there too.

He says there are a few good sized bars in Croswell that could accommodate, and most likely appreciate, a party of that sort. He said that it isn't from Port Huron, Sandusky, Bad Ax, Lapeer, Flint, Imlay City, North Branch, or even Ann Arbor! Unfortunately he doesn't remember either of the bars' name. He suffers from that dreaded disease CRS (Can't Remember Stuff)!....lol sounds like fun, I'd show up to the next one. I wish I had read about this earlier. Darn the bad luck! | |

Posted: 11/27/2006 4:54:35 AM | abstinent lady,,,,instead of waiting for someone else to 'make it happen', just go ahead and pick a place that is central to you and others around your area. Rather than picking like say a hall or something you have to rent,,do what we did and just pick a decent place to meet. That way,,you dont have any out of pocket expenses to cover for people who say they will show but dont. Post a place on here and see how many responses you get for a get-together out your way. Maybe a place with a bar and grill for those who can both have a few drinks and eat too if they want. Maybe even check out your area for any reasonable motels that someone from further away could get for the night. Go for it!

So real party animals can go to all, or which ever ones work out the best. Or do something like that once a month, and switch the days and or locations. But just pick some.....lol. I live in the middle, and would show up to allmost any of the places sugested. | |
