| What do you ladies prefer...Muscular, Skinny or Fat guys? Posted: 3/20/2006 11:58:57 PM | I prefer skinny to normal guys... I've never been with a fat or muscular guy...
But then on the other hand I would like to think I'm not so superficial as to rule out getting with a fat or muscular guy, ya know?

I'm in the same boat....I used to be 375 lbs now im 140 lbs and cant get a boyfriend to save my life. I go to the gym 6 days a week. I go dancing im in good shape...I still have flaws but some guys think women have to be perfect. Me myself I would just like a guy that im attracted too and if he is fat, skinny or just the right weight is fine with me. Most people tell me that they cant believe I dont have a bf, im far from ugly, talented, can cook and am very loving...so go figure huh!
So let me ask you...do you prefer fat, skinny or just the right weight in a woman?

I like average, not keen on very over weight but who cares about a few squidgy bits! I am deffo and eyes person, oh and good cheek bones. All said and done personality is the absolute clincher.

Posted: 3/29/2006 8:08:53 PM | To be honest, I totally prefer bigger guys...I've dated guys who have been totally ripped and I find that they are basically very conceited and all about looks. Guys who have a few extra pounds arent all about looks and they are totally more accepting about my flaws. Being with a big guy makes me feel safe....its comforting.

Everybody has their vices, some people can over do it when it comes to a lot of things. If working out is one of those vices-BONUS! I'm dfinately NOT into skinny guys, he must weigh close 2 100lbs. more than me, so I can feel like I'm with a man and not my little grade-school-crush. It also makes me feel soft and feminine next to him. It is wrong to say that really muscular guys are all arrogant with big egos. If they are in it professionally, however, it can be a little hard to compete with all strict guidlines one has to follow, and that can be taxing to a relationship( I speak from experience). My choice would be mucsles all the way , but not pro. Live life a little and eat pizza 4 crying out loud!!! Lol

When I snuggle up with a man to watch a movie, I like to really be able to cuddle. Muscular men are nice as well, but I do not like an extremely buff, bodybuilder type.
Of course, there is more to attraction for me than just this, but hope it answers the question.

| What do you ladies prefer...Muscular, Skinny or Fat guys? Posted: 4/22/2006 4:40:07 PM | I found I did the best with ladies when I was a lean 170-180. Right now I'm 220 and a lot bigger and stronger, slightly more bodyfat. I think a lot of women now are either intimidated or think I'm full of myself. And now I tend to get hassled by other guys more, maybe they feel threatened by me. I'm by no means huge, but that's just my observations.
The women I do get now tend to be crazy. Maybe its the goatee too...

If you're interested in this guy's perspective ... I used to be very skinny when I was younger, like around 125lb (5'9" tall). Obviously, I was a bone rack and had no muscle whatsoever!! That was high school. Needless to say, I had a tough time getting a date ... lol ... and yet my personality was definitely not at fault! I was just way too skinny.
I've worked hard to improve my health and level of fitness since, and today I weigh 170lb, mostly muscle with very little fat - just enough to keep my skin feeling soft . I'm stronger and fitter than the average male. After all the teasing I used to get in school, when I look in the mirror today I'm proud of what I've achieved - and nobody is teasing anymore - lol
Yet to be completely honest, I'm the most down-to-earth, friendly, approachable, non-conceited, non-judgemental person that I know.
A healthy appearance and keeping yourself fit (but not overdoing it) are very attractive qualities I think, but only if you have great personality and a positive attitude to back it up.

A man with a perfect body can be intimidating (but I suppose I could adjust)! The obese body suggests the probablility of a couch potato, which is a personality type that would not be suitable for me as I am looking for a moderate to high-energy guy. I would prefer a man who is not obsessed with his body but who needs to put enough effort into it that we could enjoy fitness activities together. I'm not so good with the solo workouts and could use a partner.

Posted: 5/1/2006 1:09:05 PM | I honestly prefer a guy that is not overly handsome.....I know let me explain....the point I am making is that to much emphasis is placed on looks, when looks change every second of the day. Why not find someone that you can be attracted to on all levels ( looks too, but not the most important ) and go from there? I have seen chemistry involved even when the other person did not look like the perfect date.
If he turns my crank, it is because he stimulates me emotionally, physically and also mentally......
OMG I must be getting old...............the fat ugly guys are handsome too.....

Posted: 5/3/2006 1:05:09 PM | | Met a really skinny guy on POF a few weeks later met a guy with boobs bigger than mine and I found both just ......YUCK! lol I felt like Goldie Locks - too skinny, too fat now looking for just right. I like a toned guy not body builder type and not malnutritioned type but a guy that works out a few times a week and a sexy 8 pack with a tight butt. LOL

I agree and it is very important that one understand that chemistry can be there even if the guy OR girl doesn't "look that nice" I agree 100% that a relationship and a date can still work, I have no doubt about that. People that demand that their date be physicall attractive (not talking about heatlh , but asthetically speaking or beauty) and make that a requirement, well I got to tell you , it will not work in the end. You may have a nice one thrill with them but it won't get far.
