Posted: 5/15/2006 8:14:08 PM | | I'm a pretty muscular guy myself, I look in the mirror before a shower and I feel so good... you know, its like yeah I am in excellent shape, im not gonna have a heart attack from bein overweight eating mcdonalds... you know i feel great it puts a smile on my face. Now if I looked in the mirror and I saw myself all fat and out of shape? I would be sooo depressed because I wouldnt be able to do the things a muscular guy can do... I can run fast I can work hard I am strong and man it feels good to have CONFIDENCE | |

Posted: 5/15/2006 11:11:26 PM | I've always been a big guy, I find that when I do have a gf...which is once in a blue moon, they usually settle for a big guy like me cuz I'm really nice and treat them like gold. I don't want a girl who settles for me and I'm not going to slim down to become what women consider to be attractive, I want someone who wants to be with a big guy....so if there's any out there that do go for the bigger guys, I'll be waiting for ya!! | |

Most girls where I live will not give me the time of day or I get the I like you as a friend. I know how to treat a girl right what should it matter what I look like. Posted: 5/16/2006 8:12:15 AM | No matter what, how we look in appearance is going to be what makes women want us or not. And that includes how we dress. I may not feel comfortable dressing up, I prefer my jeans, but I have had to buy a few hundred dollars in new clothes a couple of times to hopefully impress the women. It has not worked yet but with the right clothes I am sure it will.
Same as losing weight etc. Some may feel content to not work out to lose the noticable weight, but women will want guys looking good fit wise and dressed wise.
Who we are will always come secondary as our appearance will give most women the wrong judgement about that part.
Many will believe because you look great you are a great person...human nature to make that hunch. | |

I like to blow raspberries on them.
If a guy is naturally muscular that's OK, but I don't like gym whores. I go to the gym and see those guys, it does NOT turn me on whatsoever.
I don't like skinny guys the most, I need some beef even if it came from eating burgers and drinking beer. | |

It is insulting.
edit: Yes, I do spend 3 hours a day in the gym....and yes I am buff...and so yes, it is insulting. Consider how it would feel to be called a McDonald's whore because you carry a "few extra pounds".

WAAAAY too into their appearance and that might float your boat, but it doesn't float mine. It's only insulting if it applies to YOU and you are offended.
edit: You can't insult me with McDonalds whore because I NEVER eat there. I only eat good food that I cook myself. Try again.
Why are you offended? Why does my opinion matter? If you like spending hours upon hours at the gym, who cares? I'm sure your body is rock hard and you aren't fat. That is what a lot of men want, you should be proud of your hard work.

Posted: 5/16/2006 2:27:49 PM | Just something to consider.. not all who are heavy are as out of shape as you might think.
When I was in shape and I confess that I am not these days, i was still heavy..but I could out run in distance most others. I to this day can lift more then many of my "fit" friends.
You'll also note that the "strongest" men and women in the world the heavy lifters as they are, are almost never body builder types.
I personally do need to lose weight I've been behind a desk too long and it is in my case a very negetive effect. But those who look only to the outside.... well.. I like being underestimated used to be quite to my advantage in my old work. | |

I don't spend as much time in the gym as i used to.........but when i did; i would have been very upset if somebody had even mentioned that word! one reason why who the fox spends that much time time in the gym is because she intends on competing.......and i'm sure she'll do very well and for the person that made the comment about being too much into our looks.......working out does more than make you look good; it makes you feel good.........its also a lifestyle........I enjoy being strong and healthy; inside and out. | |

I need a man who loves to be outdoors and be active so he has to be fit. Lots of time for doin nuthin when you're dead.
I have been with a heavy man and loved it. Been with a tight abs/firm butt guy and loved that too. But no skinny guys for me thanks. I need that snuggle stuff.  | |

Posted: 5/17/2006 8:13:23 PM | You gals lighten up... crabstuffing didn't mean it like you are saying. I got what she was saying and I take it as more of a joke on the gym jocks... I've called myself a "money whore" when i'm working 2-3 jobs because I'm pulling in the money even though I know It kills me. Why do people take things out of context and try to make a big deal over it? Am I a "whore" hell no I'm not it's a joke on myself because sometimes I work too much.
Some people just have the need to take the fun out of these forums!! Now back to the topic at hand.. I still like the big guys... cudly... sweet... oh and fuzzy is nice too. I like big arms around me. Even a gut is alright as long as they can keep up with me. NO I don't go to a gym and do not intend to ever again. Been there done that. I prefer to get my exercise working in the yard, picking up hay and feed, riding, kayaking and other things that I enjoy. I do have a treadmill.. but it's in my house. | |

I am also a "kayak whore" a "gym whore" a "motorbike whore" ------man people are sooo sensitive nowadays.
