I bought a portable breathalyzer from Radio Shack a while ago. It fits in my purse. lol. If I am "not" drunk but had a couple beers, I use it, after all, how would I get to work if I blew over the limit and got a suspension. I blew 0.04 so I drove home instead of taking a cab. Handy little gadget to have in my purse.
Not to mention it is great at party's lol..tell all the men to blow me hahaha..

I used to date a cop and my brother is in the process of becoming one so I know all the little tricks. And for the month of April Waterloo Regional are on a real blitz trying to see how many tickets they can hand out for any offence including jay walking! | |

Posted: 4/11/2005 4:38:53 AM | for all to know. My little gadget is for reference only and is just a guide. It takes a technique to make it work properly. (But I didn't bring the instructions). I did try it once after 2 beers in 30 minutes. Then walked to the Drayton Farm show a couple blocks away where they had an OPP display with a breathayler set up for people to try. I blew the same on mine as I did on the OPP one. (but over time I admit, it doesn't like cold weather and takes too long to calibrate itself) but in all I had 4 beers Saturday night over 5 hours. I would say for me it worked as a guideline (because I wasn't drunk at all) But had so much fun.
Not to mention I usually have a lot of fun with it making people blow whether they blow properly into it or not...lol...just a guide and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that "actually" is drunk. After all when we are drunk we don't need anything telling us not to drive we should know better. It is only a guide for when "we" aren't drunk but had a couple. I strongly state, it is "For Reference ONLY". Oh the instructions say it also checks for gas leaks too...lol..now imagine spawning, and balloon weights..haha now wouldn't that be a site to check for gas leaks. Oh know what have I started now haha. | |

I would have gotten drunk if I had a DD with me. But Rosy was drinking too so thats why I just sort of paced myself I never got another beer after, I think it was about mid. then I had those coffee's after that. It was around two when we actually pulled out of the parking lot.
Not too many people have ever seen me totally impaired. | |

Posted: 6/3/2007 11:32:00 AM | There is a weekly coffee meet that's been going on for close to 2 yrs now, each week it moves around to diffrent towns in the Cambridge, kitchener/waterloo and guelph. It's a great place to meet new people and afterwards we head out to play glow in the dark golf or play a few games of pool, depending what town we are in.
If you are interested you can check the Ontario Party sections (I don't know why it's in that section..since there is no loud music..no dancing, just pool or golf.)
