Posted: 3/4/2007 7:57:23 PM | Hi Allison - We have not met but I wanted to let you know that my prayers are with you.
I know this is easier said than done - Think positive thoughts and no mater what keep you chin up:look up at the sky not the ground. I have a very dear friend who is having the battle of her life right now with cancer, she says that it has taught her may things: "LIVE", Laugh out loud, cry and not care who is watching, don't keep it inside, cherish every moment and make memories.

Posted: 3/29/2007 5:16:44 PM | Well I promised to update everyone once I had news so here it is.
Good news. I got the results back from my tests and it is not cancer.
What I do have though is a 10 pound tumour growing in my lower abdomen.
That being said, I am now scheduled to have it removed.
What a way to loose weight, eh.
My surgery will be on June 27th.
They wanted to do it earlier but I had it postponed so it wouldnt interfere with our upcoming singles party.
Anyways, I wanted to say thanks again to everyone who has shown me their support.
If anyone wants to visit me while I'm in the hospital recovering please feel free to contact myself or Pearl13 privately.

anyways, no worries, my surgery is scheduled for august 22nd
i'm told i'll be in the hospital for a few days and that my recovery time is going to be between 6-8 weeks
so although i'm nervous, i'm also getting excited, i know this is gonna make me feel a lot better and well... it a great weight loss program - lol
on a final note, i know several of you have offered to come to visit me and trust me, that would be very much appreciated - just let me know privately and i'll give you the details of how to find me - i truly appreciate all the support everyone has shown me - it means a lot to me - it especially means a lot considering my family doesnt live in london
so thanks bunches everyone - i'll let you know later how things go

ps: to those party animals out there, the beach party on august 18th will be my last one for the summer - or until i recover so be there or be square! | |

Posted: 8/5/2007 10:25:01 AM | Are you going to name it? Some people do, I know - weird. A friend of mine named his Kermit for some odd reason and giggles about it and won't tell me why.
My mom named her gall stone Bob when she got that taken out. The thing is huge! About the size of a golf ball. She kept it too! Had it coated in enamel and keeps it in the kitchen.

Posted: 8/5/2007 10:52:27 AM | | Yes, in fact I already have, long story short.... my tumour is named Bubba, because of a strange dream I had that told me to name my baby Bubba, and well, I'm told the tumour is the size of a 6 month pregnancy - so how could I resist. My family has informed me I'm not allowed (by them - lol) to keep my tumour. Besides, where would I keep it. LOL. | |
