How about Quick Draw McGraw? The Flintstones was based on The Honeymooners. Have you noticed how closely Fred and Barney resemble Ralph and Ed?

No one has mentioned "Sonic the Hedgehog" , yet.

I remember there were two versions that aired at the same time (Sonic was voiced by the same guy in both cartoons):

"Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog "--that was the one that looked like it was drawn by a 3-year old , didn't really have much of a plot, and the evil Dr. Robotnik was basically an idiot

and

"Sonic the Hedgehog" --the MUCH cooler Sonic cartoon where Robotnik had taken over the planet and was actually dangerous. Not to mention even the supporting characters were interesting .

I think I never mentioned these 2 shows.

The Snorks - There is an opening about how a sailor is trying to discover the Snorks, as they are only legends. I never saw them resolve that part! It bothered me quite a bit.

The Gummies Bears - I loved the various mysteries and adventures that show dreamed up. And it was satisfying that they finally found the ancient cities of the Gummies.
Although now that I remember it, they never were reunited with the other remaining Gummie kingdoms. :(

I still watch cartoons and CG animated shows, but they are mostly super hero comic book types.
Batman and Spider-Man never go out of style, they keep bring them back for the next generation.

I enjoyed watching the Gummi Bears and Smurfs.

The old cartoons with Elmer Fudd trying to catch Daffy Duck or Bugs Bunny are hilarious. I also liked the old Tom and Jerry. Those cartoons may not seem suitable for young viewers today.

If you go to youtube and type in half remembered titles of old cartoons, you may get a bit of a shock. Some cartoons were just plain bad! I typed in Hercules and I looked on with horror on some of the worst animation ever made. Funny, I don't remember it being so bad?

Felix the Cat? Blah!

The animated Star Trek was so sloooooow.

Ah, but how politically incorrect can you get with the Go-Go Gophers from 1966.

Fun to watch though! Underdog still stands the test of time.

Saw a lot of "not-so politically correct" cartoons...like "little black sambo", and such. Never see them now. Old Bugs Bunny cartoons.
Used to see an early "anime" cartoon called "G Force". Redone now by Disney with hampsters or gerbles or some such. It really wasn't too bad a show...had some twists to it that were interesting...like the bad guy being revealed to be female! Whoa!

I was always a fan of Tom and Jerry and RoadRunner. Scooby Doo was a good one as well but they would always show the same episode with the Creeper. I saw it at least 5 times a week. I hate that episode with a passion lol
