| Breastfeeding on a plane. Posted: 1/5/2007 6:02:59 PM | As long as the mother keeps her breast and baby covered, not a problem for me. | |

| Breastfeeding on a plane. Posted: 1/5/2007 7:18:39 PM | I am disgusted by this..extremely disgusted. I am a mother of two children, I nursed them both, and was constantly stared at and glared at by people even when I covered myself. Personally, I covered my breast, but I NEVER covered my childs face...Ewww...why would anyone ask you to cover a baby's face with a blanket? Same as asking a mother to go nurse their baby in the bathroom...WOULD YOU EAT IN A BATHROOM STALL? People, grow the heck up. Go Gillettes!! | |

| Breastfeeding on a plane. Posted: 1/5/2007 7:35:44 PM | No kidding, have we forgotten what mammory glands are for???? They are meant to nurse our babies! I breast fed my son for 14 months. I had to put up with all kinds of pressure, even from my In Laws..."I want to feed the baby, buy some formula so I can feed the baby"...."here, you can go into my bedroom to do that"....Screw you! This is what God/Mother Nature or whoever you believe created us intended! We are mammals! Yes, we are civilized, but we are mammals! I personally will high five any woman who has 'the nerve' to breast feed thier baby in public, as she is doing what is best for her baby. These types of discussions make me furious. Just because folks are so uptight about a tit. Get over it. We watch nature shows and ooh and awe over the beauty of a calf being born and watching it struggle to get that first beautiful suckle of thier mothers teat.....but don't dare be human and try to be natural! If this makes you uncomfortable, then go away. It means you have the problem, not the nurturing mother. | |
