There are no hard and fast rules when it come to making love or any part of it - it is a private dance of sorts, to be made up as you go, as it can be like night and day from partner to partner. The better you know each other the better the communication will be to bring out the best love making sessions for all involved.

For others, their religion forbids it! Some women would have an orgasm after only a few minutes of licking by a talented tongue, while still others would want to graft your tongue permanently to their clitorises as they just can't get enough! 
It's difficult to pin down how much would "enough" cunnilingus be, but her body language should tell you. If she keeps on thrusting herself against you, that's your sign to continue! Or if you're aware she like certain things, which usually is told by her breathing, and such, then you change it up. Variety may be a nice, depends on the women.

One position I'm fond of you're welcome to try:

I've met a few guys that can talk their way through this better than others who've actually tried... meaning they've warmed up the spot between my ears (and legs) before we've even met! That helps alot, but I'm thinking that there isn't really that much territory that needs attention so if you're all over everything else but that one small spot, no wonder you're jaw's getting tired. I've always found that once I've told a man where to focus and how, things progress pretty well from there. | |

OP, I think your tongue is just out of shape. I'm serious. For me anyways, it's like anything else. The more often your, um, exercising your tongue, the longer you can go without cramping up.
Plus you want to stay plenty hydrated. Maybe eat some banana's for b-12. And make sure you warm up an stretch properly. | |
