| 00690 Posted: 11/26/2006 6:15:34 AM | Okay this calls for a standard profile review.
Your profile name is interesting. It would make me click, and obviously I did!
Capitalize any and all nouns (Brisbane) and capitalize all of your interests to make it look clean.
"Prefer Not to Say" should just be eliminated from the choices tab. It means "yes" don't kid yourself.
Hone your syntax, grammar, spelling, and other relevant aspects. I know you're looking for Talk/E-mail but few people like to decipher AIM speak.
Why do you have so many Message restrictions if you're looking for Talk/E-mail?
Your picture also contradicts this. It's pretty, and pretty suggestive. You're going to get a lot of people telling you that "ur fake" so I recommend getting a new display picture. On that note: post a wider variety of pictures too. | |

Short, easy-to-read, blurry, uncapitalized, sometimes-difficult-to-connect-with, travels, nice hair, curious, dog-lover.
THOUGH OCCASIONALY -
Smiley, fashion-don't-doer, lonely, grizzled, inactive, hoary, tired, dejected, gloomy, obnoxious, apathetic, lethargic has been, seeks to be left alone on the sofa with just my pooch for company.
This is what I see at this juncture. Change or remain resolute in the face of the verdict. Remember negatives never add anything to a profile. I like games, so I want you to figure out what I gleaned those impressions from. | |

| adamselindisdress Posted: 11/26/2006 10:52:29 AM | Thanks for the review, though I'm buggered if I understood any of it...
Uncapitalized???
Where?
And I shall remain resolute, unless of course you age 20 years overnight... | |

"and people I meet typically believe I am about 10 or more years younger than I am"
You can say that again!
I actually have no issues with your profile except for the Interests list. It was a hurdle I had to jump over to get to your About Me. There are a lot of Interests that aren't underlined, can you cut it down a bit and at the same time make your interests list relevant to those of others?

I don't know where to begin!
The brilliant headline? The awesome profession? Your sassy aura?
Where have you been all of my short, inconsquential life?
Oh -
Canada.

herselftheelf:
First: yer pictures.
1. Nice smile 2. If I look at it from real far away I and squint my eyes I see a cleavage shot. But there's something better! 3. Silly lady do you really think you can catch that medicine ball? 4. Ambush? 5. This is different. A woman that doesn't want me to look at her face so she blots it out and my eyes go straight to the 6. That thing in your nose is gone! 7. From what I've heard, yes, the population of Canada is 43. 8. Pretty.
I was going to say "Cyber-Ninja personals are thataway" but you said that you were kidding.
:(
You killed my joke.
I just love love love love love profiles like this. Two thumbs up.
So long and thanks for all the fish.

You can say that again!
OK: People I meet typically believe I am about 10 or more years younger than I am (tee-hee!)
Thanks, darlin - you made my day!
Love and luck to you out here in the Pond, you cutie pie!

I have calculated that would be precisely enough... ego boost for me today...200% isn't quite enough..and anymore than that..well..
I don't want you to put yourself out anymore than you have to. Thanks! | |

For the past 20 years? Probably reflecting on the daily routine of midgets. And watching T.V.
Yeah.
Thanks for the non-review, kiddo ;)

Suggestion: New screen name. I don't like numbers in names. It reminds me of AIM. AIM is a teenage wasteland. Conclusion: Numbers in names are bad.
Query: What can I say Bill? You did make me laugh so you didn't disappoint me with your first line.
Blasphemy: "I am a California native, moved away at five years old to Virginia . . ."
Claim: ". . . with a band of gypsies AKA my family."
That's pretty cool.
Disturbance: "eclectic" never use this word again.
Suggestion: Say that you can cover Slayer or Megadeth. Women will fall in love with you and so will I.
Exhaltation: "Also, not draw a blank stare when asked what the last book you read was. I realize this weeds out the masses, but hey, that's the intention."
You are a god.
Claim: Okay Polyphemus I know you're secretly a cyclops. Eye, eye, eye, eye, eye, eye.
Query: "I am irreverent . . ."
To who? Women?
Consideration: First date for Sushi. What if I'm allergic to sushi, babycakes?

Clay_Man
Your headline is kind of weird. Different, but weird. Are you saying that I need to collect stars to make myself pretty enough for you, or are you the star for me? I'm confused!
"My profile sucked."
Get rid of this line. Because of this line I immediately thought "It probably still does then." NIX IT. "Yes, it's true." Yep.
"I haven't really felt motivated to get out there . . ."
Negative. Get rid of it. If you aren't motivated to get out and meet people then you must not be motivated to sustain a friendship. Was that an almost baseless assumption? Yes, indeed, it was. But that's what I'm getting from your profile.
". . . mostly looking to meet new people . . ."
Fallacious pup! Don't contradict yourself.
----------------------------------------------
Woodstar,
Young lady I recommend moving the picture descriptions to the bottom of your profile. I want to hear about you first. Normally I'd say that pictures like those aren't quite what we're looking for, but since you're only here for Friends it works out.
Other than that, I think it's GREAT because its sincere, isn't pristine, and made me laugh. I also fell in love because you like to watch things set on the ocean. | |
|
| billbutler8, Clay_Man Posted: 11/28/2006 6:58:07 PM | | Thank you, kind sir. I'll follow your advice. I hope you have family and friends who delight in your being. | |

Siskel: I think the appeal behind this film is intense. It keeps your interest without appearing pretentious. It also exposes the town of Calgary as a place where it snows indoors. Fascinating. Thumbs up Ebert, thumbs up.
Ebert: I agree. Though I believe that the advertising campaign should have used a smile, I enjoyed this film very much. It's sure to be popular with people of all ages. And what's up with Calgary? Strange weather. A big thumbs up.
You heard them! Two thumbs up!

forgivensins,
Capitalize your interests. It makes your profile look cleaner and it's just so easy to skip over uncapitalized interests.
Truthfully I've always found talking about school to be a boring icebreaker and conversation point. If I were you I'd move it further down in your profile, but I'm not you.
Normally I don't like dislikes lists, but I like yours.
I am not a big fan of emoticons because I believe that your writing should be able to portray your emotions, but if you like them you can keep them. | |
