| Do ALL women think that men are stupid??
Posted: 7/18/2009 4:41:12 PM | When I was working in the provincial government (21 years), I heard a lot of male-bashing jokes, etc., and was frequently asked to join "Women's Programs". I let it be known that I heartily disapproved of both. Bigotry by any other name is still bigotry -- and I detest it.
Having worked with men and alongside men, been associated with men in sports and hobbies, meetings, etc., and having done the same with women, in all those same situations, I found that there are gender differences in perspectives and how people respond to things said, actions or events. But across the board, stupidity or wisdom, or anything in between is an individual thing, based on who they are at that one brief moment in their personal odyssey. To attribute it to their gender is narrow-minded, unfair and inaccurate, in my opinion.
As to whether ALL women think men are stupid? I don't believe they do, deep down inside, but many of them may go along with voiced derogatory comments due to misplaced solidarity of the 'we versus they' variety.
But once again, that is only my opinion, based on observations that, admittedly, takes in a very small sampling of women in one small 'pond' here on the West Coast. | |

i have to be honest i characterise all women the same for one reason,if you put ten in a room at least eight will agree with each other,theres an odd one of course,arguing pursues lol, back to the point so in order for the ladie to not stand out she follows suit, this is why women think that about men,they normally meet there downfall or actually find someone they really love and say goodbye to there friends"their all ****es then"
do women actually learn from there mistakes in love or do they just follow suit? | |

Posted: 7/18/2009 6:26:58 PM | No, I do not think so. I think both sexes have similar ranges of intelligence. As children, it seems girls acquire language skills faster and there are some other differences but in the end, things even out.
I will say that men who have been raised by "old school" parents (who think the man should be the bread winner and the woman should keep care of the kids and the house) seem to have difficulty with intelligent women. They become competitive and then they make poor choices, such as, rambling on about things they know nothing about. | |

Posted: 7/19/2009 11:56:53 AM | As there are different types of intelligence, it's hard to label any one person stupid. I tend to leave that moniker for Ontario drivers who cannot seem to maintain their speed, thus ensuring I don't have a f*cking clue what they are going to do next. I never had to turn my cruise on and off so much as when driving near Ottawa and not even in the city.
Ooops, sorry went off on a tangent there......
Seriously, I think all people can have "stupid" moments. Some however are worse than others. While I admire intelligence, having common sense seem to rank higher on my list.

You are a man with purpose and I recall we were wondering then how so few men could leave that impression with so many women.

However, if a woman has the opportunity to embarrass a man because she thnks she's smarter, she will do it. And then everyone laughs. The funny thing is that if a man embarrasses a woman, it's considered rude. Doube standard here in the US. | |

Lets see here,,,,how long has it been since I started tossing flies in this pond again???? I think we men can all agree that we give them enough ammunition to use at times. And of course the girls know how to use it. 
Really,,,,it could be worse. They could be thinking that we are stupid AND ugly. Hold on, hold on. I just remembered something. I had a young lady CALL me stupid and ugly the other day. FFS!! | |

Posted: 7/20/2009 5:47:16 PM | Well guys, ya probably know this, the difference between woman thinking, and guys thinking, is that woman think "emotionally" , and guys think "logically".
Also, if something goes wrong, orrrrrrrrrr, IF, SOME, I SAID SOME, woman feel that something isn't right, and they want out, then they find something wrong with it, and blame US, for it being what they feel it isn't.
It IS, an easy way out for them, without having to take THEIR SHARE, of the responsibility for it.
Oh well, sometimes better, and easier to go it alone instead.

I think when people get angry and shoot off from the mouth they come across as stupid and for some reason men are more likely to do this than women. | |
