Posted: 10/25/2009 10:00:53 AM | It's nonsense to suggest that the vaccine cases in the US are being won, the Michelle Cedillo test case was thoroughly blown out of the water and to 4,800 other plaintiffs have been found to have no case; there is a federal fund for vaccine damage in the US and no autism claim has been paid out so far, although one child with a pre-existing mitochondrial disease and 'autism-like' symptoms has been paid out.
The symptoms of Mercury poisoning include loss of peripheral vision and tremors, these are not typical autistic behaviours, if your child is suffering from any of these symptoms I would suggest further investigation.
I have never heard anything to suggest that there is any difference in the vaccinations given to the general public and those given to government officials.
It's also worth pointing out that countries where thimerosal hasn't been used in vaccines for years -such as Canada and Denmark - have similar incidence of autism (and rising cases of autism) as the UK and Japan, which hasn't used the MMR since 1993 also has rising cases of autism. | |

A University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine research team has found that exposure to mercury causes degeneration of brain neurons in animals.
The scientific findings are being published in a cover story in the April edition of the British journal NeuroReport. The researchers’ academic paper is supported by a time-lapse video recorded from a microscope camera showing how neurons degenerate when they are exposed to mercury.
"Our study illustrates how mercury ions alter the cell membrane structure of developing neurons," says Fritz Lorscheider, physiology and biophysics. "This discovery provides visual evidence of our previous findings that mercury produces a molecular lesion in the brain."
The research paper, co-authored by Lorscheider and U of C professor Naweed Syed as well as medical student Christopher Leong, looks at brain neurons from snails. The researchers added mercury ions to cell cultures of developing neurons and observed the neurons undergoing rapid degeneration. Nerve processes in snails and other animals, specifically the microtubules in neurons, are similar to those of humans.
The team has identified how this degeneration takes place:
• mercury ions attach to a neuron, causing its microtubules to disassemble or break down and, ultimately, leave that neuron stripped of
• its protective membrane
• some of these stripped neurons then form aggregates
• these aggregates are damaged neurons that are clumped or tangled together
• the damaged neurons cease to function as healthy neurons would
Other metals – aluminum, lead, cadmium and manganese – did not produce this type of degeneration.
"Mercury has long been known to be a potent neurotoxic substance, whether it is inhaled as vapour or consumed in the diet as a food contaminant," says Lorscheider. "This research provides visual confirmation of that."
Medical research laboratories, over the past 15 years, have established that dental amalgam tooth fillings are a major contributor to mercury body burden. In 1997 research done by Lorscheider and colleagues at the universities of Calgary and Kentucky demonstrated that mercury vapour inhalation in rats produced a molecular lesion in the brain - similar to a lesion seen in 80% of human Alzheimer-diseased brains.

When U of C professors Fritz Lorscheider and Naweed Syed co-authored their research paper on the effects of mercury on neurons, one of the most compelling proofs they had was a five-minute video that showed those effects.
The video combined state-of-the art animation and time-lapse videography to irrefutably demonstrate their findings.
The video, created by the Advanced Media for Learning group from the Learning Commons, used the same animation software used in Hollywood films such as The Matrix.
"Dr. Lorscheider called and asked us to put together the animation to help explain mercury’s effect," says Dave Rittenhouse. "We just filled in the blanks."
However, the video was more than just a prop to gather media attention. When Lorscheider submitted the paper to the British journal NeuroReport, which eventually published it, he added the video as an accompanying document, making it the first time that a piece of animation was subjected to the peer-review process, as far as Rittenhouse knows.

It is this ingredient, which is present in almost every type of vaccination, that has people asking if vaccinations cause Autism. Many studies have said it does not.
You can also find vaccinations that are Thermisol free including the one shot h1n1 vaccine. Keep in mind that vaccines are injected into chicken eggs for incubation/growth of the actual virus and the virus is then cut into pieces. Anyone allergic to egg may want to mention that to their doctor. | |

According to a U.S. government survey just published, rates of autism in children have doubled since 2003. Today, an estimated 1 in 91 children are being diagnosed with autism, making this the highest rate in any population in the history of human civilization. Meanwhile, the vaccination push in America continues, specifically targeting children with not just seasonal flu vaccines (which may contain thimerosal), but also the H1N1 swine flu vaccine.
It all begs the question: Is there a link between vaccines and autism?
In defending vaccines, many doctors have blamed autism on a genetic cause. But if it’s genetic, why are rates skyrocketing so quickly? The gene pool obviously isn’t changing that dramatically. There’s no such thing as a “genetic epidemic.” If genes caused autism, the rate of autism diagnosis should be holding steady year after year. Clearly, something else is at work, causing the sharp increase in autism.
Autism is a neurological disorder. If you’re looking for the cause of autism, it only makes sense to look at causes involving environmental factors that expose children to chemicals linked to neurological disorders. Vaccines immediately come to mind, not only because they contain thimerosal — a preservative made with methyl mercury that’s extremely toxic to the nervous system — but also because they contain chemical adjuvants like squalene, which directly cause inflammation of the nervous system.
So what happens when a nutrient-deficient child is exposed to more than one hundred vaccines injected with thimerosal, squalene and other chemicals? It’s not unreasonable to suspect that vaccines — which inject these chemicals directly into the body — might be one of the more obvious causes.
The pharmaceutical industry (which thrives on vaccines) claims there is absolutely no link between vaccines and autism. Well of course they do! The entire future of pharmaceutical profit-making depends on the continued propagandizing of the myth that chemical intervention improves human health. They’re no more likely to find fault with their own vaccines than a cigarette company is to admit cigarettes cause cancer.

What’s clear is that rates have autism have paralleled the rise in children’s vaccines. Each year we get more vaccines pushed onto children, and each year we see increases in autism. Given that many vaccines contain a neurotoxic heavy metal (mercury) and neurotoxic adjuvants, it only seems reasonable to start looking at vaccines as one of the important contributing factors (if not the main cause) of autism.
Other factors for autism
There are likely other factors involved, and their danger potentially gets multiplied in the presence of methyl mercury from vaccines. Monosodium glutamate (MSG), for example, is a neurotoxin, too, and kids today are eating more and more foods laced with MSG as flavor enhancers. (It’s found in canned soups, gravy mixes, salad dressings, snack dips, and virtually all “instant” microwaveable meals.) Look for “yeast extract” on food labels: It’s a covert source of MSG that manufacturers use to avoid having to place “MSG” on the ingredients label.
There’s also aspartame and diet sodas. Aspartame is a potent neurotoxin that could be making the nervous system especially vulnerable to damage from vaccines. Beyond chemical food ingredients, the human nervous system can also be compromised by pain drugs administered during childbirth, antidepressant drugs or diabetes drugs given to expectant mothers, or even the highly toxic chemicals commonly found in “baby care” products used in hospitals around the world.
Even before they’re born, most first-world babies are exposed to a toxic stew of synthetic chemicals. The chemical invasion of a vaccine injection might be the one final blow that sends the nervous system in a downward spiral of destruction.
The facts cannot be denied: Our children are being neurologically poisoned by chemicals, and vaccines are one of the most worrisome sources of chemical suspects. In my opinion, any parent subjecting their child to vaccines today is directly putting their child in harm’s way. They are risking their child’s life in order to comply with a highly unethical, profit-focused vaccine push that has but one objective: To sell more dangerous pharmaceutical chemicals to children who don’t need them.
There will be a day in the future, I’m sure, when injecting a child with a neurotic chemical will be considered a felony crime, punishable by years in prison. Until that day comes, this same criminal act is innocuously called “administering a vaccine.”

In 1943 the well known child psychiatrist, Leo Kanner, announced his discovery of eleven cases of a new mental disorder. He noted that "the condition differs markedly and uniquely from anything reported so far..."(1) This condition soon became known as autism.
What is autism?
Autism (alternately referred to as autistic disorder, childhood disintegrative disorder, or pervasive developmental disorder) is a complex developmental disability a neurological derangement that affects the functioning of the brain. This condition usually appears during the first three years of life, and often strikes following an early childhood of apparently normal development. Mental and social regression is not uncommon. Although the severity of the affliction varies from child to child, the following symptoms are typical: inadequate verbal and social skills, impaired speech, repetition of words, bizarre or repetitive behavior patterns, uncontrollable head-banging; screaming fits, arm flapping, little or no interest in human contact, unresponsiveness to
parents and other people, extreme resistance to minor changes in the home environment, self-destructive behavior, hypersensitivity to sensory stimuli, and an inability to care for oneself.(2-4)

What do you tell all the parents who decided not to vaccinate their children and the children became Autistic anyway ? Were they spoon feeding them mercury at home ?

My son got all of his shots with mercury. He is fine.
My kids too. As well as my neices and nephews, and they are all fine.
From what I've been told, out of approximatly 350 kids that go to my kids school, only 6 kids have autism. Considering that kids had to have all thier immunizations to go to that school, I'd say those are pretty good odds for taking the vaccines.

According to officials in the nation's regulatory agencies, the main obstacle to proving or disproving a link between the autism epidemic and the mercury-based preservative, thimerosal, that was contained in childhood vaccines until a few years ago, and is still in flu vaccines, has been the inability to find a large enough group of people who have never been vaccinated to compare with people who have.
In fact, a few months ago, CDC officials claimed that such a study would be nearly impossible. On July 19, 2005, the CDC held a Media Briefing on the topic of vaccines and child health. On the issue of government research on autism, a reporter asked CDC Director, Dr Julie Gerberding: "are you putting any money into clinical studies rather than epidemiological studies, to verify or disprove the parents' claim about a particular channel, a particular mechanism by which a minority of genetically suspectable kids are supposed damaged?"
Gerberding replied: To do the study that you're suggesting, looking for an association between thimerosal and autism in a prospective sense is just about impossible to do right now because we don't have those vaccines in use in this country so we're not in a position where we can compare the children who have received them directly to the children who don't.
Dr Duane Alexander, of the National Institute of Health, agreed and said: It's really not possible ... in this country to do a prospective study now of thimerosal and vaccines in relationship to autism. Only a retrospective study which would be very difficult to do under the circumstances could be mounted with regard to the thimerosal question.
However, Dan Olmsted, investigative reporter for United Press International, and author of the Age of Autism series of reports, appears to have solved this problem when he came up with the idea of checking out the nation's Amish population where parents do not ordinarily vaccinate children.
First he looked to the Amish community in Pennsylvania and found a family doctor in Lancaster who had treated thousands of Amish patients over a quarter-century who said he has never seen an Amish person with autism, according to Age of Autism: A glimpse of the Amish on June 2, 2005.
Olmsted also interviewed****Warner, who has a water purification and natural health business and has been in Amish households all over the country. "I've been working with Amish people since 1980," Warner said.
"I have never seen an autistic Amish child -- not one," he told Olmsted. "I would know it. I have a strong medical background. I know what autistic people are like. I have friends who have autistic children," he added.
Olmsted did find one Amish woman in Lancaster County with an autistic child but as it turns out, the child was adopted from China and had been vaccinated. The woman knew of two other autistic children but here again, one of those had been vaccinated.
Next Olmsted visited a medical practice in Middleburg, Indiana, the heart of the Amish community, and asked whether the clinic treated Amish people with autism.
A staff member told Olmsted that she had never thought about it before, but in the five years that she had worked at the clinic she had never seen one autistic Amish.
On June 8, 2005, Olmsted reported on the autism rate in the Amish community around Middlefield, Ohio, which was 1 in 15,000, according to Dr Heng Wang, the medical director, at the DDC Clinic for Special Needs Children.
"So far," according to Age of Autism, "there is evidence of fewer than 10 Amish with autism; there should be several hundred if the disorder occurs among them at the same 166-1 prevalence as children born in the rest of the population."
In addition to the Amish, Olmsted recently discovered another large unvaccinated group. On December 7, 2005, Age of Autism reported that thousands of children cared for by Homefirst Health Services in metropolitan Chicago have at least two things in common with Amish children, they have never been vaccinated and they don't have autism.
Homefirst has five offices in the Chicago area and a total of six doctors. "We have about 30,000 or 35,000 children that we've taken care of over the years, and I don't think we have a single case of autism in children delivered by us who never received vaccines," said Dr Mayer Eisenstein, Homefirst's medical director who founded the practice in 1973.
Olmsted reports that the autism rate in Illinois public schools is 38 per 10,000, according to state Education Department data. In treating a population of 30,000 to 35,000 children, this would logically mean that Homefirst should have seen at least 120 autistic children over the years but the clinic has seen none.
It looks like the problem is finally solved. Thanks to autism's****Tracy, the government now has thousands of unvaccinated people to compare to people who were vaccinated.

Government vaccine guidelines were expanded in 1991 to include a Hepatitis B vaccine for infants within the first few days of life, even though the disease is primarily transmitted sexually or spread through the use of dirty needles. The introduction of the shot was part of a greatly accelerated vaccine schedule that coincides with the drastic increase in autism, which now affects one in 100 American children. Thimerosal was removed from U.S. Hepatitis B vaccines in 2000 but was not recalled from the market and was administered for approximately two more years. It still remains in other vaccines including all multi-dose shots for both the seasonal flu and H1N1.
Current government recommendations for seasonal flu and H1N1 call for pregnant women to receive both vaccines, and children as young as six months to receive as many as four separate flu shots. "This also doesn't take into account that nursing infants may be exposed to additional mercury through breastmilk should both mother and baby be vaccinated," says National Autism Association (NAA) board chair Lori McIlwain. "This study's outcome confirms that such an over-the-top toxic vaccine schedule is an assault on the developing brains of our children."
Specifically, the study found:
-- Thirteen newborn rhesus macaques were given a Hepatitis B vaccine containing a standardized dose of thimerosal adjusted for their weight, four received a saline placebo, and three were not given any shots.
-- Vaccinated animals experienced a significant delay in the acquisition of three survival reflexes compared to unvaccinated animals. Root, snout, and suck reflexes, critical to animal survival in the wild, were delayed in the vaccinated macaques.
-- These reflexes are controlled by the brainstem, a vital part of the brain that regulates automatic functions such as breathing, heart rate, and intestinal activity.v -- Neonatal responses in unvaccinated control animals were not delayed.
-- The delay in acquisition of three of the four survival reflexes was not contingent on birth weight or gestational age.
For years, parents of children with autism have lobbied government health agencies to conduct research comparing the health of vaccinated children to that of unvaccinated children, and to remove thimerosal from all vaccines. Neither request has been met.
"This study underscores the lack of appropriate government action to ensure the safety of vaccines. Had our government agencies conducted the most basic research on the implications to children's health from the vaccines they rigorously promote, they could have spared thousands of children the neurological injuries they endure today," said Ms. McIlwain. "It's shameful."

In Canada and Denmark, countries which do not use thimerosal, autism rates continue to rise steadily.

It concludes that "The discontinuation of thimerosal-containing vaccines in Denmark in 1992 was followed by an increase in the incidence of autism. Our ecological data do not support a correlation between thimerosal-containing vaccines and the incidence of autism."
There's no evidence to support the claim that the Amish do not vaccinate their children and in fact, pediatrician Dr Kevin Strauss has stated “The idea that the Amish do not vaccinate their children is untrue ... we run a weekly vaccination clinic and it’s very busy.”
Dr Strauss also authored a study describing nine Amish children with a seizure disorder and autistic behaviours, which is available here;

If you have ever had anyone struck with any of the things they vaccinate for you might see that without vaccines the human race would be pitiful. My great grandfather contracted a severe form polio as an infant. Was never suppose to live past infancy, but did. Grew up to become a huge part of the Space Program. Passed away my senior year of high school (1997) To see how debilitating the virus was on him and his body was awful. To not vaccinate your children you are setting back human civilization 100 years. I am very concerned about what is happening and what is being planned regarding our health, particularly this so called Swine Flu Vaccine. For one I have done my homework and I have discovered many things, I don't believe a lot of the public knows about. But they should and this is why I'm writing this hub. It all kind of started a few months back when I did some research on the Swine Flu and it's vaccines.
I had no idea the vaccines my government mandated that my child gets contains the following: Trimerisol (Mercury) and aluminum,formaldehyde, human diploid cells from aborted fetal tissue, thimerosal, distillation of coal tar, vesicle fluid from calf skins, chick embryonic fluid, polyribosylribitol, phosphate, yeast, and chemically defined yeast-based medium, rabies virus, continuous line of monkey kidney cells including phenol red rhesus monkey fetal lung cells, rhesus monkey fetal diploid cells , bovine fetal serum, thimerosal mouse serum proteins, guinea pig embryo cells, fecal matter, urine, and macerated cancer cells, and yes pus and sores of diseased animals. Prescott Bush the grandfather of President George W. Bush a Wall Street Executive Banker, was sat on the board of the vaccine manufacturer Eli Lilly. In 1977 George H.W. Bush joined the board of directors of Eli Lilly for two years. Future Vice President to Bush Dan Quayle's father, James C. Quayle, owned controlling interest in the The Indianapolis Star at that time. The leader and prime developer of this Swine Flu vaccine is Baxter. The very same Baxter International which contaminated the seasonal flu vaccines in 18 North European countries in which 72 kilo's which is 2.2 pounds of highly infective Avian flu. It's also not clear if those 72 kilo's have been destroyed, they still could be floating around. Baxter was under contract to be able to sell these avian flu vaccinations if their was an outbreak.

A federal lawsuit to stop the forced vaccinations was filed in U.S. District court on July 31, 2009 by Tim Vawter. Rumsfeld stock holdings valued at between $5 Million and $25 million according to federal financial disclosures. Others that served as board members for Gilead includes George Shultz (former Secretary of State) and the wife of former California governor Pete Wilson.

After the introduction of a vaccine for any particular disease, after a period of about 5 to 8 years, that particular disease mutates and develops a resistance to the vaccine, and then the disease rate begins to climb. There aren't too many other places, if any, in America where you can find large groups of children who haven't been vaccinated.
The reporter found three children with autism. One child was adopted and previously vaccinated, another was one of the few Amish children who were vaccinated, and the third had an unclear vaccine history. That leaves, at most, potentially one child out of an expected 200 (from national statistics) with autism. The odds of this being mere coincidence are slim to none.

Anyone know how many children are learning disabled in the Amish community? Neither do they, they don't test their children! You are lucky if they take their children to a regular doctor. OB/Gyn, not likely either. More like midwife. So that means how many babies are born with birth defects that don't survive? You don't know the answers because this is a closed society!
I always love how people don't think Amish get STD's and are so pure...yeah right, check out what some do before they join the church and then there are the upstairs bars and women for the adult men...oh the stories I have heard. I used to live in Lancaster.

Of course, drug companies make more money when children are given several vaccines, and they use mercury in those vaccines. On the other hand, many parents are not willing to pay the cost for a one dose vaccine, which does not contain mercury.
There has been an awful lot of "scary", seemingly fact based data published regarding vaccines containing mercury & autism, and there is some truth in this data. There are also those who thrive on propagating conspiracy theories, and there is much left out. For example, there IS a difference between metal mercury and Ethylmercury and their effects on the body. The presence of metal mercury in the body causes mitochondrial enzyme deficiency, which is not found in most autistics. Autism continues to increase, and only time will tell how long it remains to do so.
I have been slow to give my own children any "new" vaccine" without first doing some research & talking to a health professional in whom I trust. If you don't trust the medical profession, approach a college Chemistry or Physiology professor. IT certainly can't hurt. Truth is, we all have personal experiences that are such that no amount of research will change our minds. All in all, I have to say that I do believe that for the most part, greater good is done by vaccinating than not. If one feels very strongly, simply request one dose vaccines and foot the bill. | |

Well I am a mother of a child with Autism and can say I, after much research and reading article after article, can say that I believe that vaccine have a correlation with the rise of Autism. If you read the possible side affects of the ingredients of the vaccines, they resemble the symptoms of Autism. Please do your research and you will be surprised. The schedule in the 1980's consisted of 10 vaccines by the age of 6, now there are 36 vaccines by that age. Please consider that when these vaccine were implemented science and healthcare were not what they are now. Look it
