Just wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and you think you look good in. Forget about labels. Preppy skater? What is that supposed to be... Go out to stores and buy what you like. It's simple.

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 7:31:10 AM | | i think you'd look just as good in other colours matt, u just need the confidence to wear them. go out n grab everything other than black that u like n see how u go cos u'll either still look like a wigger or the worn out mosh look if u keep to that black. best thing for u to do is ask the ppl who know u, friends and family (bar mothers cos they biased, you could wear crap literally and she'd still compliment u) and see what they say-honesty might bring out the new you. | |

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 7:36:08 AM | its not so much how he dresses it more about the confidence he shows...
if he feels comfortable and feels he looks great then he will just have this confidence about him that will be sexy... weather that is in a suit or casual!

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 7:55:13 AM | Hmmm a sexy look for a guy...
Is anything as long as it is clean, not wrinkled..and he is definitely clean..good hygiene is a must.. I don't care really, as long as it doesn't look like you have rolled out of bed..a nice cologne is good too..even jeans and a t shirt..but don't wear something that looks like it has been rolled in a ball and the shoved under the bed..black shirt and jeans is always a good one..I tend to be rather partial to black..
Sexy - choose clothing that highlights your best features.
Clean - keep yourself well groomed & fresh, good hygiene is always sexy.
Sharp - pay attention to detail (the basics of male attire apply to all styles), clothes that go well together & integrate into a co-ordinated 'look' capture the eye. You don't have to pick a defining category like 'preppy' but thoughtfulness shows & the girls know that is likely to carry over to other areas of your life.
Just be you..

Wear what makes you comfortable yet still projects that you care how you look. Stay away from the oversized clothes, nothing says kid more then wearing clothes that are 3x too large.

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 8:42:31 AM | Well, Matt.
Rock a garbage bag...if that's what you're comfortable in.
Rock a pink tutu...if that's what you're comfortable in.
Rock a kimono...IF that's what you're comfortable in.
Detect the pattern?
A little extreme maybe, but a "sexy look" is one that a woman will associate with you at the moment she is attracted. So it doesn't really matter what you "look" like, only how you "appear."

| Wiggers are SO over. Posted: 1/25/2007 10:36:40 AM | If the Offspring didn't try and warn us about inpending Wiggerdom, than surely Fred Durst was a sign. Nothing looks funnier than a knee high white kid trying to act like he's an NWA reject. (NWA was the shit btw).
A good look, clean and sharp? Toss out your hoodies and goofy sports hats. And never, ever turn your hat on that ridiculous angle. Just a few pointers.

| Wiggers are SO over. Posted: 1/25/2007 10:37:37 AM | | And there is NO SUCH THING AS A PREPPY SKATER. That would be an OXYMORON. | |
|
| Wiggers are SO over. Posted: 1/25/2007 1:31:34 PM | | Buy yourself a pair of really good jeans, not too tight or baggy, even if it means spending a little more money on them than you usually would. Try on lots if you have the patience. You don't have to buy the first ones you see and the most expensive aren't necessarily going to be better. Versace jeans can be downright embarrassing. | |

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 1:53:16 PM | Look what the well dressed people are wearing. Not the thugs or skaters or whoever is trying to dress like other people, but people a little older, who know what they're doing in life, and buy clothes that look nice.
If you don't know what looks nice, find a girl can dress you.
My mom has good taste, sends me nice stuff. But I never wear it cuz I have work clothes. Then my girlfriend says why don't you wear this tonight. And wouldn't you know it's a nice shirt and I'm a well-dressed man again.

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 2:12:33 PM | | I tend to dress as if the nurses at the home forgot about me and I escaped for the weekend. Sometimes people give me spare change for no reason and you would be happily surprised how many old ladies grab my arm and take me into to timmies for some soup while they try to see if I know where I live or what my contact phone number is. | |

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 4:41:09 PM | If I looked like you, I'd go for the streaker style:
-long&dark trench coat made of a thin fabric that hugs your figure in the wind -long hair and beard that could be cut to change your look in a hurry -sport sandles that let your feet feel exposed but are still tight enough to outrun an angry parent or pseudo law enforcement official

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 5:36:52 PM | I need a complete makeover, something that will say "wow" about me, first step is to discard a few items, aw what the hell, all of them..lol and start over, been this way for too long, looks like i'm always ready to go to work, though a few women as of late seem to like that look... i guess if you feel comfortable in what you wear, then go for it, someone is going to like whatcha got going on. Me, i'm a hopeless case..lol, off to buy some threads... | |

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/25/2007 9:34:13 PM | You've got an existing list of your likes. So find a look that reflects your interests. Look like who you are. You list a few sport and outdoor activities. Maybe a more rugged woodsy theme. You could also go with sports themes. You've got the art and book side, and state you don't like stupid people. Maybe a higher end look. Or blend them. I've got several different styles in my wardrobe and dress for whatever I am doing. If I am in the bush or fishing, I dress for it. If I am playing b-ball with my son or letting him laugh his a$$ off as I tumble from a skateboard or snowboard, I dress for it. If I am working in the garage on my cars I dress for it.
Just don't dress dorky. Especially in Hamilton.
Try picking a girl or two that you know and ask them for input. Go for a trip to value villiage with them and try on different styles, get input. But as everyone is saying, be comfortable in them. Physically first. The emotional comfort will come as you see that nobody is slamming you or laughing at you for the change in style. If they do, then fire back that you are growing out of the "I am an individual so I am gonna copy some other look" way of thinking. Turn it back on them. Women dig a guy who's got confidence. Demonstrate it and they will start to look at you differently. And it's not just the ladies. Workplaces, adults around you, even the young people your own age will see you as a little bit more than who you were. Impressions are not just a show, they are the confidence you have. The honesty and demonstration of comfort in who you are make you a better person all around. Welcome to the entry to real adulthood, man. Be yourself. Don't be a chameleon who tries to copy someone else's coolness. Just be.

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/26/2007 2:15:15 AM | | Good question: A man makes the clothes whatever he wears, it is his sense of style that should come through and every person is not the same. Just go and explore some colour, fabric, and of course a great tailor is important. LOL, I started having certain clothing customed made according to my own design for my son when he was little, still do except now the design is almost always his own and again can't stress enough, a tailor is certainly a big difference than off the rack....... Good luck and have fun shopping!!!! | |

| A Sexy Look For A Guy Posted: 1/27/2007 10:23:11 PM | | Matt - You have to dress however makes you comfortable. What you wear does not define who you are. I am most comfortable in sweat pants and/or pajamas. That is because I work from home and I don't have to see anyone except my kids. When I go out, I usually wear jeans and a sweater or a basic top. I don't dress up for anyone. It drove me ex crazy when I wore my sweats. He hated it, but that was what I was comfortable in. | |
