"Here lies *****, finally stiff."

and on my tombstone, I'm sure some smart-ass will write . . .

"Here lies Heather, finally quiet!!"

Hmmm, there was a British boxer who has on his tombstone: "You can stop counting, I'm not getting up." But I've never boxed*. Still, maybe I can finally get some of that pugilistic cachet.

On my tombstone, I think I want something esoteric, bizarre, impertinent:

• "He had a voice as big as all outdoors."

• "The Blue Whale now holds the active record for penis size."

• "He's buried 15 feet below here, because deep down...he's a nice guy."

• "Secretly, it was you who killed him."

Actually I believe that it's irresponsible to take up so much space with regular burials and headstones and stuff. When I die, I'd like to be scattered over my hometown. But not, like, cremated or anything.**

GE&H

* Unless you count my little brother and I putting on like 7 pairs of socks on our hands and flailing away like spazzes. You don't count that? Okay, then I've never boxed.

** I stole this.

No Tombstone..

Cremation with ashes to be put in little metal vials on a necklace to be then welded shut & worn by my children..

Girls will get Pixie or Butterflies on their vials
Boys will get Spiders on their vials..

or

There will just be a vial used for both..
I'll be welded in and close to their hearts at all times..

If I have Grandchildren.. they too will get them..

"If you are reading this I am about 6' below you. NOW GET THE HECK OFFA ME, unless you are my wife... then I always liked it best when you were on top"

"Do not weep for me... weep for the breweries that are now gonna go out of business"

"You always said I was beneath you... now, for once in your life you are right"

"If you are fat, take care of my cat. But, if you are thin... open the box and slip right in!"

"If you can read this, I am dead. damn how I wish you were illiterate!"

"Well I'll be darned! They were right!"
