L'eggs! Those things were cool. Well the package was cool.
DIM has some nice sheer pantyhose. The Bay seems to be the best selection and they have those little sample pieces so you can see what the hose are like.
I can't wear those damn stayups. I have fairly long legs and those things go way toooooo long, can't pull 'em high enough and if you don't there's elephant knees and saggy ankles. <--- hey where'd that come from???

Call me old fashioned, but as uncomfortable as they are ... I think hose (or stay ups or stockings etc) should be worn with formal wear. | |

I already tan, so I'm going to go for the "naked" look, more comfortable, and since from all the feedback it doesn't seem to be mandatory anymore I'm sure I'll be fine.

I don't suppose it is important to wear hose anymore, I think unless you require a slip you don't need hose.

I wear tights, prefer leggings when wearing tall boots.. and avoid that cinnamon look at all costs. lol

I also prefer tights as they are comfortable and warmer during the winter. | |

To a lot of men, hose is deemed the sexiest thing a woman can wear. To others, it's a sign of sophistication. To the rest, it's coverup for nasty NASTY lookin' legs that no one really wants to see anyways...what with knobby knees, and vericose veins and what have you.
I think they enhance the allure that most women have the ability to convey. Granted, they're about as comfy as wearing Saran Wrap...but hot damn can they ever bring out the mystique in a woman.
If it's "expected" at a function, then this is aimed at the sophistication angle. In the business world, there are a lot of places that require women to wear nylons if they are wearing skirts or dresses etc. This is to women what a tie would be to men. Just a sign of business casual, slightly semi-formal appearance.
If you are aghast with wearing them, and some are, then go with a previous suggestion to wear nice slacks and an equally nice blouse. You'd still look fabulous, and be comfortable at the same time. | |

I have never had that snatch, lift, grabby thing - not since the 70s anyway ... and, sorry but it's cold outside and I don't think lotion is gonna keep you warm! Stockings rock!!! they are wayyyyyy cooler than hose, you get some color on your legs and gosh should your skirt slip up a little, most men go off right there in the office.
I use them as an undergarment much like a bra or bustierre..
I do wear pantyhose occasionally.. I like patterned ones and I can never find pattern stockings in the colors I want...
and fishnet stockings.. UMMM>> fine with a halloween costume, or if you're working the strip, other than that ladies.. leave them for the bedroom~~~JMHO.. | |
