| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 9/28/2008 2:47:46 PM | I detest pantyhose. They are so uncomfortable and yes they always seem to be too big/too small/too rough etc… I enjoy summer as you can get away with wearing a skirt sans hosiery.
That being said, sometimes I do enjoy wearing a garter belt and stockings although they seem to be only on for a short period of time lol.

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/13/2008 12:31:33 PM | Firstly, I'm a guy who doesn't wear them. Now, I do enjoy seeing women were pantyhose because I believe they enhance and accentuate any leg. There's nothing "kinky" about this. Women spend so much time doing up their face they sometimes forget about their legs(I'll probably get ripped for that statement..ha ha) The bare legged look is unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. I cannot stand flip flops and bare feet, especially at the office. I am convinced that many women(not all) wear flip flops all the time because it takes NO effort to put them on and you don't have to wear hosiery or even socks(laziness) I find it quite hypocritical that some women claim that they are uncomfortable. Yet these same women who complain wear thongs and/or tight-tight fitting jeans. Pantyhose get a bad rap because many people believe they are only worn by "grannies" which is soooo ridiculous. I just think that some women just like to complain and whine and treat pantyhose like they're some sort of disease because the so-called fashion gods detest them. Just one man's opinion...... | |

'nuff said...

Flip flops are actually quite comfortable. Has absolutely nothing to do with laziness, but everything to do with comfort. But thank you for your armchair analysis.

Thongs and/or tight fitting jeans ARE comfortable. Nylons aren't. You can't even begin to compare the two.
Now... for one woman's opinion...
Why don't you throw on a pair of pantyhose on a sweltering hot day and strut around for the whole day, and then come back and tell us again what hypocrites women are... Funny how someone who has never worn them can be so opinionated!

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/13/2008 4:05:31 PM | ^^^1) panty hose... are a scent multiplier 2) if I were to wear them on a hot summer day...I'd have a stinky, sticky case of glue leg.
I will stick to what I currently wear. Good thing I am not opinionated...hehehe

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/13/2008 4:30:22 PM | | It's been scientifically proven by many podiatrists that flip flops are actually BAD for your feet. They offer no support whatsoever and thank-you for your lack of analysis. I have spoken to many women and they all say the same....thongs and tight fitting jeans are not all that comfortable. They only wear them because they look and feel sexy in them. Besides..thongs are gross...having a piece of fabric stuck up you know what(ha ha) You can go on and on and on about us guys having to wear them blah blah blah to get the full effect but I wear suits/ties all day with dress shoes/socks (and in the summer heat)and guess what......it's not such a big deal. You don't hear us men whine about them. Women like you just enjoy whining. This is kind of fun....can't wait for your response. | |

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/13/2008 4:35:48 PM | | flips flops and bare feet at work are unhealthy and unsanitary. There's this woman at work who wears them all year round and sometimes she places her stinky, ugly feet on one of our couches during meetings.......yuck !!! Hey...relax...I'm merely expressing an opinion. You must be a republican(ha ha) They can't take abit of opinionated criticism. I have no objections to flips flops at the park....the beach..your home but wearing them to work is in a professional setting is disgusting. | |

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/13/2008 4:38:50 PM | | One more thing. I don't wear them. I just happen to appreciate women who are well dressed and feminine. Obviously that is not you but so what. It's not a big deal.......enjoy. | |

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/13/2008 4:51:19 PM | Radioactive, NL is very feminine... she is also an amazing woman! YOU are out of line.
Pantyhose in the appropriate place and weather conditions... yep, I wear them. In the summer... not a prayer... dress with opened toed shoes, great pedicure, some nail polish... very feminine.
As for the comfort of thongs, and the comfort of flipflops - it is about the fit and the occasion.
I am all for opinions... to each their own... but at least be kind.

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/13/2008 7:48:43 PM | Good lord, are you rabid or what... three responses to my one??
Where did I ever say I wore flip flops to work?? or are you just ASSuming?
I really don't give a shit what you wear to work, be it a suit/tie, or coveralls, I'm not a male, so I really can't make a judgment on what you guys find comfortable or what *I* think is appropriate, not like you seem to judge us women. It really is no business of yours what I, or any other woman wears and WHY we choose to wear what we wear.
Tell me, does your wife know you're online looking for women to go out to dinner with and 'hang out' (hmmm.... isn't there another thread here that the definition of 'hang out' was discussed?!?!?), do you get your panty hose expertise from your wife, or from your 'hang out' meets from this site?
I can tell you something though, this woman does not 'whine', and this woman would not look twice in your direction, I suspect not many women would.

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/14/2008 11:39:44 AM | | This is toooooo funny of a discussion. The only reason I made a comment was because a female co-worker friend of mine dared me to. She knows how much I hate flip flops at work. I only sent the second response because I hit "SEND twice(ha ha ha) The only other time I heard the words "hang out" being used was last week and it was in reference to Barrack Obama "hanging out" with terrorist Bill Ayers. Finally, I never said "ALL" women. I said "some" women which may or may NOT include you. Capiche? Have a wonderful day.......won't you. | |

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 10/14/2008 8:01:19 PM | Radio, thank you for speaking out on behalf of men who admire feminine women in pantyhose ! Ladies, let's be kind to these guys ; he's just expressing his opinion and he didn't pick on anyone here in particular. The OP does leave it open for anyone's point of view when the question was posted.
By the way, those of you ladies who hate pantyhose are missing out on a LOT of fabulous attention from the men around you. Women in all sizes can look great in hosiery and they don't have to be uncomfortable at all. You just have to spend a little time to find the right brand, sheerness and style and it doesn't have to cost a mint. My gosh, I buy mine at Safeway and have had women come up to me to find out where I bought them.
Stick to your guns, radio... and I know there are many other guys out there like you.

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 12/20/2008 3:28:30 PM | I have to say that pantyhose are the sexiest garments a woman can wear on her legs.
As a trained reflexologist (foot massage), I would definately call them an asset to having your treatment go longer!!
All kidding aside, they are very, very alluring as long as they aren't white!!

to be honest I switched to the stay up type of stockings ages ago and have never looked back... the gartered ones can leave bumps on your thighs where they fasten..
pantyhose.. well if there was a special request for them I would wear them - but the stockings are far more comfortable and just as attractive - if not more so

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 12/22/2008 10:41:55 PM | | I'd rather go naked then wear pantyhose... but then I'm all about the natural look anyhow... One piece of advice. Never wear pantyhose if you are wearing a dress that looks like it should be worn in the summer and if you are wearing something " summery" in the winter, get a tan. | |

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 12/26/2008 2:15:25 PM | | They need to have a pantyhose dating site for men and women alike. Bothe for men who liket o see women wearing pantyhose and for women who like wearing pantyhose. It seems to be a huge topic in a lot of places. | |

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 1/20/2009 3:17:50 AM | Oh my!... Absolutely. I'm a 49 yo man who adores wearing pantyhose. JC Penney's Subtle Shapers full support pantyhose happen to be my favorite pantyhose.
Probably not what you wanted to read when you asked the question.

Funny... I'm a man recently having the courage to begin wearing my pantyhose openly. My next major goal is to go shopping for pantyhose in a department store inside a Mall, while wearing pantyhose and shorts. SOooo... I would love to throw on a pair of pantyhose on a sweltering day and strut around all day.

| Does anyone wear pantyhose anymore? Posted: 1/20/2009 9:12:48 AM | | Some shoes just look better when you have on the appropriate hose. Today, however, I have the misfortune of a slight problem and no emergency nail polish! I love wearing skirts to work because then you never have to worry about your pants being too short! In winter I certainly would not be without them; that's just silly. | |
