Pity, without fail, the men I've met who were the best kissers ALL played a wind instrument in high school. I was in band one year in middle school and played the trombone.

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/19/2007 5:14:59 PM | I played drums in middle school, but only so i could twirl my baton in marching band in high school. It was stupid requirement that we had to play an instrument to be a majorette...my talents are dancing to music, not playing it. I have an ear for beats and rhythms but i so cannot play them....it just comes natural.
As for the super bowl, it will be hard to top Prince. Since the Janet/Justin debacle they're playing it safe with older more established artists. I'd love to see a salute to motown, or even a salute to disco would be fun....but one huge artist in the vein or a Prince or Paul McCartney, might be hard to find

And Britney and Paris should totally do Superbowl together this year! Oh wait they're looking for family friendly. Sorry can't think of anyone!

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/19/2007 7:48:44 PM | cast my vote for the brass instruments,....... have to love a man who can "double tongue". second vote goes to the drummers,.... yes it is a strong arms thing
sound of the instruments? piano, flugelhorn, french horn, cello, sax and classical guitar in no particular order.

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/19/2007 10:41:48 PM | | In a rock band it's the drums for me cause it's so physical. Classically speaking it's anything BUT the brass section, but that's just cause I don't like brass. I'm really in to music, duh Songbird, so any instument that a man can play well is EXTREMELY sexy to me. | |

The just sound damn cool. And their quite unique and clearly Scottish.

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/20/2007 9:44:19 AM | | Oh GOD, how could I forget to mention the bagpipes? Ok - Cello is still a first...but the pipes bring something alive in me....that's the most heavenly sound on earth :D | |

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/20/2007 10:23:25 PM | mmmm ... it's got to be the electric guitar. I love the power chords and the soulful solos. The lead guitarist in Pink Floyd, David Gilmore, plays the most heart-felt solos I've ever heard - especially his solo in "Comfortably Numb" - I just melt when I hear it. The electric guitar is sexy when it "cries" and especially when the strings are bent. I like to fall asleep listening to a recording of an acoustic guitar. I don't know the correct terminology to use because I'm not a musician, but it's the deep full sound that I find very restful and serene. | |

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/20/2007 10:34:38 PM | The instrument or the musician...
I like unusual so I'll pick a rain tube, diggery-do (spelling??), African drums, or the best of all...something improvised with what surrounds a great musician...that can be HOT!!!!
It makes me think of the time I saw this band in concert...towards the end...the lead singer grabbed the drum sticks from the drummer and went around the room playing things...that was SUPER SEXY!!!

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/21/2007 8:42:26 AM | OK - piano, because you can improvise together:)

What was the topic about?

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/21/2007 8:59:54 AM | No votes for Tuba...
Used to play 4 instruments (and yes Tuba was one of them, as was Baritone Horn, Trombone and Trumpet), but haven't picked them up in a very long while.

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/21/2007 11:09:11 AM | The human body is the sexiest instrument--for me, particularly, the female form ;) A beautiful woman can strike a pose and just play me like a violin...
Steve Vai said, "The hands are the link between the heart and the mind..." Passion is sexy. As a guitarist and singer, I suppose though that I'm biased towards guitar and the human voice (for what it's worth, since I'm not a girl, and this is the ask a girl forum!)

| Sexiest Musical Instrument??? Posted: 9/21/2007 1:40:06 PM | IMO and perhaps because I used to play guitar I think that any instrument with strings is the one. Its curvy body is usually well placed in warm player's body spot and quite fits there (thinking about it )). While one hand is strumming the strings, the other is busy helping these strings produced the right height and depth. On the whole, maestro or amateur and its instrument can create a wonderful prelude to one's eyes ~ ears ~ heart delights. Hmmm ... even loins can be temporarily on fire - but I digress. | |
