Edit.. Babycham place a pack of frozen peas or oven chips wrapped
around a tea towel on your foot and that will help reduce the inflamation.
Put your foot up also on a chair for a couple of hours which will help... | |

The swelling is going to be difficult to bring down as it's a fresh injury. Keep it raised, foot above the heart is the best.
You can take aspirin, the variety for the heart as it's a good natural anti-inflammatory.
Unfortunately it's too late to ice as the damage is done as far as that is concerned. I'd say just kep off it all day and keep it up!
Edit: The ice won't really help anymore guys, that's something to do straight after the injury occurs as it slows down the blood flow to the injury thus reducing swelling. Doing it a day after will have very little effect. I know, I've tried it! And my physio said the same thing and I trust him. | |

Ice pack for a couple of hours last night and friend just brought round arnica, don't think I'll be shopping in the West end but hopefully will manage to get trainers on by this evening, I've got pretty sparkly ones so should get in the bar ok!

I have, but you wouldn't like it.
OT I'd love to attend the meet tonight, but I have a problem with the dress code. You see, I've worn this pair of leather trousers for so long, that I haven't been able to remove them for over a year. I'm sure they'd not get past the doorman.

A little reminder....The pub is a LARGE pub holds up to 900 people.It is a VERY BUSY pub and has bouncers on the door. The bouncers are like they are at any other establishment and they have the right to REFUSE entry and NO reason is needed.
AFTER 9.30 they charge on the door for entry...So for that reason we suggest that you arrive before that and as the venue is in the heart of the West-End that you dress wear a dress code suitable to the area.
Thankyou to all those that have been helpful and thoughtful in letting us know you are unable to make it and removing yourselves from the list!

Lastly but very importantly ensure your safety by doing these things.
Please tell someone where you are going.
Plan your route back home or to the hotel.
Seperate your money, incase you lose your purse or wallet, enabling you to still get home safely!
Mobile phone theft and street robberies are on the increase,so PLEASE be aware of those around you!
Watch your drinks and cigs,do not leave drinks unattended,if you have to the use facilities,then drink up before you go,take it with you or buy another on your return!!!

unfortunatly it looks like the kind person i was gonna share the trip with may not be able to make it  and as a shy lady i really don't wonna make the trip or walk in on me tod so i know this is very last minute and you are prob well on your way, but is there anyone travilling up from kent who would like some company!!! im in canterbury but can drive were ever or is anyone driving that i can meet up with and follow??
would hate to miss it, plus....i do have two digital cameras i can bring for you lovely people to use!!! lol
or do you know if its an over 25's place as at very last measure i may be able to go with my daughter.

Posted: 2/24/2007 4:29:58 PM | Very disappointed with the venue. Difficult to determine who exactly was a fish, and who wasn't. Probably unfair criticism, due to the fact rugby was very much the order of the day. I left earlier than I had anticipated, and ended up in 'On Anon' in Shaftesbury Avenue.
Doesn't mean I won't go to another! Just means I might be more selective regarding the venue.

no disrespect to the organisers but they must of known it was the rugby and chinese new yr
we stayed and i chated to a few people but all i chatted to were disapointed even if they dont admit it
well done for organiseing one in london but a lot of people i chatted to said they wouldnt go to another one there because it was a mess | |
