Posted: 3/1/2007 10:05:46 AM | They cancelled school buses for today in Mississauga, and I just received an email they will be cancelling tomorrow as well. The pictures from the storm in the US look terrible - worst storm so far this winter. I am seriously considering taking the day off - I HATE standing outside waiting for commuter train that never comes. On top of that there is a train derailment in Pickering which will screw up the Lakeshore line even more ----ahhh!
I'd rather stay in bed and watch Y&R LOL Times like these I REALLY miss having a man to join me...

Posted: 3/1/2007 10:08:28 AM | My son's school called me at work to say that the buses were canceled and also that classes were this afternoon so I had to leave work at noon and pick up my wee man.
I want it to be better tomorrow though since I am supposed to be driving to Cobourg for a wkend with B.E.D.

It really is coming down good here and has been for a couple hours! But it may let it up towards the evening and be fine by tomorrow morning...you never know with the weather we've been having this year!!

Posted: 3/1/2007 10:15:04 AM | Its been bad here now for about 2 hours (Ancaster!) and it is whiteouts, squalls and slow driving. i'm supposed to be in clinic all day tomorrow in toronto but with the weather have decided to call in precautionary. they've been right on all the storm reports so far so i figured they'll be correct for this one.
no leaving work early today....i don't have the excuse of not being able to home when all i have to do is walk upstairs (although me thinks i might be bad and close a little early) LOL | |

The drive home wasnt so bad. Slow and the visibility was terrible but it wasnt slippery yet. Took me a little longer to get home is all. Just shovelled the driveway and you would never know it. Im now home safe and sound here in Milton. | |

I live in Oshawa so it should take a good couple hours to get home.
