I just get surprised that there are still people who want to degrade people because of the choice of bike they ride. Why do people still think that only crooks... hard azzes... bullies.. and low lifes are the only ones who ride harleys??? Of course... I don't really care about those who think that about harley riders.... I'll still put one (harley) between my legs anyday!!! | |

of course, they are not the only ones who ride harleys, yet a majority of those types of people you mention do seem to choose harleys over other brands of motorcycles for whatever reason?
possibly xenophobia, hatred of European & Japanese, or non-American products?

I am not that little but... I ain't that big either ) ole me!!! And then get me on that Harley and get me out of that frighten state of mind!!!!
The only thing is.. Please know how to handle your bike and these idiots drivers that we have here in Florida.. and since I do like that leather look.. but it is hot as the****ns in the florida sun.. maybe it would be better for an evening cruise or early morning one????

Seems most of the replies are to do with people dying while riding.
More people die in a bed then anything else, would you sleep on the floor because of this?
More people die in their cars than on bikes maybe you should fear cars as well.
Point here is how can you live if your afraid of death?
Over the years motorcycles have developed a stereo type that depicted rider's as less than sub human. In presents times this is not so the case. Due to ever rising gas prices and not to mention the price to own and operate a automobile motorcycling has come to some great numbers at this present day. To say you wouldn't date some one with a motorcycle puts you looking at a less potential in finding your mate.
Don't judge the mass by single instances.
Never have the fear to live and enjoy life no matter what it is you love to do.

So true, I'm a sailor AND ride my Harley every chance I get, when I pull up on my bike at the marina and walk down to my boat, I get the stink-eye from "yachties" on the dock, I love it, makes them crazy, sheesh! | |

I love bikes!!! Obviously Harley has more punch to it, but nonetheless I am not picky...I dont own one and probably never will, but my sister and brother inlaw and their friends are very much into riding here in Palm Beach. I sneak in whenever I get a chance. Always looking to make friends with guys that ride.
