Nice thread....I'm widowed and after all these years, it's the small intimacies that come back to my memory so strongly.....those morning cups of coffee brought to me in bed...his scent...the feel of his fingers on my skin and the feel of his skin under my fingers....the touch of some part of our bodies while we slept....the list goes on to include those coming and going kisses. I, like another person in this thread, so very much enjoy watching an older couple walking hand in hand....or watching them dance together knowing they have been doing so for many a long years. All those many small intimacies are rich gems.
