| Another Sat, night, whos doing what Posted: 12/16/2006 7:21:33 PM | At the moment, I'm using this site as a justification to procrastinate... uh, I mean, to relax.
The greeting cards were mailed out a couple of weeks ago. And, there's no need to decorate - which I don't bother with anyway - because someone in my apartment building puked in the hallway, and how the bits of undigested carrots and meat and noodles fell in a kind of wreath shape that stinks of stomach acid and booze does seem sort of cheery in a ghastly way. Almost traditional...
Today, I managed to accomplish a good portion of my Christmas shopping without dire incident. In the process, I met a chatty homeless-looking person calling himself Jeronimo, who took credit for how safe the streets are Downtown, so I lit his smoke and thanked him for a job well done with a fistful of pocket change to make him go away. I also met one of the mall's janitorial staff, who was disgusted at how much waste from the food court could feed a small country, and then proceded to tell me how to pluck and roast a turkey using his Grandmother's family recipe. 'Tis the season.
I also picked up most of the supplies I'll need in order to crank out the next issue of my self published magazine during my upcoming time off from work. Looking forward to that package deal, mainly because I really like this inexpensive glossy paper I discovered. And, I finally got around to preparing my reviews website for upload during this hiatus - explaining the hiatus and its benefits, to distant relatives, incommunicado acquaintances and whom ever else stumbles upon that site with any measured regularity.
Oh, I also checked out the movie Charlotte's Web earlier today. Probably the best Christmas film in theatres so far this year. It's simply delightful.

| Another Sat, night, whos doing what Posted: 12/16/2006 7:30:25 PM | I always stay in on Sat night, it's my favorite night to stay home, too busy out and people are too wound up, drink too much etc. I go out a lot during the week though, and sometimes I do go out on Sat. I am usually out on Fri, Sat is just anther day for me.
Sat is the one night of the week I really like to stay in though, or hide.
