I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures could be a few interesting ones I reckon after my encounters with the naughty secretary. It was really great to meet friends old and new again and I look forward to attending the next one.  | |

It was great to meet up with friends old and new 
Had a great time and will def. be there for feb's meet!!!!!!!

tv songs of praise but im riding a fast virgin tomorrow morning and all
being well should be home in time to see the pics when they go up!!
I had a great time and it was a pleasure to see so many old friends
and chat with people i hadnt done with before..
It was lovely to meet you missindi and sorry we didnt have that dance!

Thank you to all the staff who organised it all, i think they could see a good time was had by all.....

I got this email from a male site member tonight. So to him and anyone else thinking of mailing me to complain when it was very clear as to how last night would be run. Take note of the points raised below ok

It was blooming freezing waiting to get in last night!
Hope you can speed things up a bit next time. Also the music was so loud I couldn't talk to anyone. There were so many people I would have liked to talk to but they couldn't hear me. In the end I gave up and left.

But I got fed up shouting at them all night. Thanks for setting it up in the first place, but can you make it easier to talk next time?

Secondly you try to organise a meet night for 350+ people
I cannot please everyone all of the time
It was very clear it would be a disco on the thread
It was also clear people would have to queue
You always had the option to go upstairs and talk like others did
I suggest if your not happy that you organise one yourself
Or perhaps wear a warm coat on the night ?
I look forward to seeing you organise your own meet night in Birmingham

Posted: 12/17/2006 3:17:28 PM | laine ,in my eyes you did one hell of a job last night apart from the people that obviously didnt read the party thread right and well basically stuff em,we were all told that there would be a disco there which automatically means that it gonna be loud music otherwise whats the worth having one there at all ,there was upstairs for people that wanted to chat,im from brighton and a vistor for the first time and i even knew that the upper level was there,it makes me so mad that you get someone who puts themsleves out to arrange an evening for everyone to enjoy themselves (which is no easy task) giving up their spare time and efforts only for some few to sit on their a***s complaining and moaning,everyone knew what time it was to start and if they had to wait then so be it ,if they go to a night club and have to que do they then write to the nightclub to complain?? i dont think so.if they wanna sit there and groan on then hell let them arrange a night out and see what they can do ,, nope dont think they will somehow ,if they not prepared to arrange a meet then basically shut the **** up. | |

That was my first night at a meet & I was SO impressed we are planning more! The queueing was relaxed & good humoured, I was well pleased with the venue and thank you xxCazxx for being such a fantastic hostess with the mostest. Loved the santa suit! XXX You looked fantasic!!
What a West Midlands Full Breakfast she cooked up - fantastic! 
Oh and if someone can explain how I ended up in bed naked I would appreciate it - I may need to wait for the pictures to reveal the incriminating evidence..... | |

Was really good fun wasnt it, Never laughed so much in all my life. So pleased I met some fantasic people and I do appologies for giving the wrong handle when I went in (COULDNT REMEMBER MINE TO SAVE MY LIFE, THINK ITS CUS IM NOT ON HERE MUCH!!!)
I TOLD PEOPLE my handle was ((((((precious06)))) and really its ((((hbaby)))) SORRY sorry sorry hihihihihihi.
Well My prince charming didnt sweep me off my feet, but met some nice gals and lads as well.
Hope the valentines party will come up with some genuine guys who are looking for more than just a quicky lol. hihihihihihihi

Absolutely loved the fancy dress by the way, posh vik and pants..............ace
Miss BBw with regards to the person who sent you that e.mail as i said to you earlier i thought the queuing up, taking into consideration the amount of ppl who were in attendance went very smoothly, we didnt have to wait very long at all, besides we got talking to some lovely ppl in front of us and it made the time go past quicker.
As for the music being too loud....................err have you been to a pub before? The music is loud When i wanted to talk i went upstairs or to the further end of the bar where it was a little quieter, I wondern if he has ever attended one of the meets where there was no DJ, i find them just as loud
I for one had a lovely evening

Posted: 12/18/2006 12:45:40 AM | For all the praise that goes around though miss BBW and gang does appreciate it, lets not forget the Brave ones that turned up for the first time, the Shy ones that came even though they knew they might not speak to anyone, and the newcomers that hadn't got a clue what they was letting themselves in for. They all deserve a pat on the back for giving it a try. As for the rest, well it was done for you, and enjoyed by you, and made well worth while by you !!!
Well done to all who came along and made it a roaring success!!
For the complainers, If it was a perfect world we would not need the meets, I had my ears blown apart! I was jostled, I didn't get to dance with or know the one girl that really caught my eye, Where are you Val? but what the hell, think positive, Central Birmingham, Saturday night, two weeks before Christmas and you was partying with 300 Plus fantastic people for £1.50 Get real, think of the good parts of it and if there was none well go away and have a serious think about your outlook on life, then come and give it another try!
Roll on February and even better next summer and dancing in the street!!!
