I don't think the group will be as big this week with the holidays and all. I know last year the groups was a little smaller at this time. I don't even know if we will make it back in time for karaoke or if we are coming back at all today(depends on the roads), but happy singing all! | |

OT - I vote for Bootleggers... long way to go for me... but Deerfoot is pretty quick.
I'm wondering if anyone would like to try a Thursday some week??? I heard about the mini burgers Bootleggers has on Thurs. Just wondering what people think of this idea.
I have no idea what the roads are like on Deerfoot today... anyone been down it yet??? | |

Posted: 12/27/2006 12:51:53 PM | Last week at Bootleggersthe waitress made a mistake..She took over halfway thru another girls shift...When I pointed out the error AFTER paying she offered the refund plus EXTRA jug of beer for free....but since we were leqaving I asked that she put the money OWED to me on the other persons tab...and to NOT give me the free jug cause THAT was too much for an honest mistake...and I gave her a HUGE tip!......
Dont mind Ppl making mistakes we all do it...But to go above and beyond has definite brownie points in my books! | |

Posted: 12/27/2006 11:09:07 PM | I left there just before 10:30, there were some good singers tonight!! Even a couple or three Pofers can belt out a pretty good tune!!
The wings I had were "finger lickin" good, but they need to supply a few more of those towellette thingys cause I had to lick all the way to the crotch!!
Two dishes of wings and three scotch and 1 7up for the road, less than I expected cost wise, and they are not going smoke free on one side or the other until 2008!! ( for those that may still have the urge to light up)
Service worsened as the crowd thickened, but it was definately better than the last time I went out! | |
