"Hands her a twenty to pay for whatever i'm getting"
Then say "So how much of that do you pocket?"
She says "Umm none"
Say " Oh, well that's to bad..."
She says" Why's that?"
Say " Oh because i'm looking for a rich girl that can support me... yatta yatta"
The key though you have to say it, slowly.. clearly with good pauses. Don't act frantic and nervous... there's no need to.
Then afterwards if it's feeling like she's flirting back ask for her number. Very simple. | |

Posted: 12/23/2006 9:05:54 AM | I never flirt with someone who is much younger than I am and I don't expect them to flirt with me to be honest. Most YOUNG (but still at least 21) don't want to date a guy old enough to be their father.
I don't want them telling their friends that "this old guy was trying to flirt with me!"
Cashiers are supposed to be friendly or at least cordial, so I generally think that 99% of them are just doing their job. Some female cashiers are really friendly and outgoing so it can be a little confusing, but most of the time a guy can tell unless they are brain dead.
I figure that cashiers get hit on enough and I don't want to add to the stats.
I NEVER flirt with married cashiers; that is unless they flirt with me. That doesn't seem to be a "problem" with me.
I have been a cashier many times and I don't ever recall a lady flirting with me to be honest, but that was a very long time ago and they would probably have to pin me against the wall and smother me with kisses for me to realize they were interested. I'm probably a little bit brighter now, but probably not by miles. | |

I worked in a department store for 8 years and u would not believe some men would go to extreme to ask a girls' number i tell u.... they are hilarious.. One time there is this girl that i was working on the next till beside me...this customer constantly comes in the store literally just goes to her till no matter what... she is 15-16 somewhere there. she would tell the guy i have a bf so back off but no this guy would bring her gifts and she would then either pretend to ask for a price check a code to security to come and check out what is going on at the till - there were numerous times some of us girls get stalkers too and that was going rather extreme to the point of a restraining order.... | |

I usually end up embarrassing the hell out of the SEXY ones ; I rape them with my eyes . A lot of them , even the accomplished ladies men , end up blushing like a school girl, and feeling rather violated . Give them a little taste of their own medicine, I say ( equality rules).

if a guy hits on you he wants to get your number and date you and bring you back to his bed.
Most flirting is just harmless. Outgoing people do it alot, its a good way to strike up conversation: complementing someone on their looks or outfit. It makes people laught and feel good about themselves. But i guess if it hapens everyt 5th customer it can get redundant.
If its a big problem for you and you dont' like it then dress down when you go to work. Don't wear makeup, and don't show alot of skin/skimpy outfits and your flirting numbers will go down.... on second thought this my discourage the nice people from flirting with you and leave only the sleezballs who flirt with everyone no matter what. Well thats my advice for ya. | |

I work alone all the time and hate to tell you how many times a night I get hit on. It comes from all age groups. Some are regulars and others are just passing through. The sad part is that I am not one of the pretty people so to speak but I am very outgoing and friendly. I love to laugh, tease, joke with them and I would go the extra mile for any of my customers. That seems to please them to no end. Most of the time they are just friendly flirting but some get out of hand when they do I very nicely put them in their place. I am happy to say I can give as well as recieve and they all seem to know it. Have to tell you it makes for a very nice working enviroment and makes the time go by faster. So any of you out there that might come across me just give me a wink and a grin and I will give it right back at ya. | |

/agreed. i'm a cashier at a gas station...just like the woman above me, & i get hit on all the damn time by guys; & not just by older guys, but by guys my age...& even younger guys too.
hmm...& i'm not totally convinced that i "ask for it" either. (i have some-what of a dress code to follow or whatever. so, i don't walk around all doll'ed up.)
hmm...i guess a lot of guys take my "be nice & friendly w/ all of my customers" attitude/approach the wrong way.
i mean, i don't go out of my way to flirt (...with most of them. ;) ) but guys just try it anyway. but i gotta admit. flirting is quite fun. & i like it because as someone else has mentioned, it makes the time go faster. but i like to leave it @ flirting. i'm not really into random hookups.
moreover, i've actually never been in a situation where a male customer has tried to take it past flirting. i'm really good @ controlling conversations w/ male customers who are flirting with me. so, they don't have a chance to ask for my # or whatever. mwuahaha. | |

Customer aftercare service? Maybe they needed support on how to use the products.
