OMG iwalkalone lighten up will you. Speaking only for myself I am the most unmaterialist girl I know. Everything I have is from yardsales, I buy my clothes at the salvation army. I have no fancy jewlery, yes I do have a beautiful home but I built it myself. Yes you heard me right. I do not expect a man to have this big paying job and lots of money. All I care about is his heart. Is he sincere, trusting, caring, loving, kind, gentle, affectionate. I do expect him to have a car as I just think its normal to have a car it could be a $500 bommer for all I care. My car is a 2000 chevy fully loaded for $1,800. I got that from a private sale in the paper. I love my car. You do not have to have alot of mony to enjoy life or get a mate. Just a heart that is willing to be open and giving. I would rather have one day with a man who had no money having a picnic lunch who treated me like gold, to a life time with a rich man who treated me like dirt.
I could always lighten up, but this isn't a forum topic for guys to be sympathetic or even easy-going with chicks, because this topic question is the source for a lot of frustration for a lot of guys out there who find themselves walking down the street all alone and looking at chicks walking down the street with these CORNBALLS who they just KNOW are treating them like trophies and flat-out DIRT....while all the time thinking to themselves, "I can treat her a hell of a lot better than he could"...this isn't just me talking....ask around...you'll see...
But I WILL say this much though....AT LEAST someone FINALLY came out and singled themselves out and didn't try to generalize anything, making good guys end up hating chicks eventually because someone decides to speak for all of them with that materialistic mentality and attitude... | |

I DON't expect anyone to treat me, provide for me, spend on me, or do ANYTHING for me that I am NOT 100% completely able to do AND provide for myself. I cannot help it if you CHOSE take offense because you don't have a car..... ( which by the way seems you are the ONLY one that did and continues to whine one about it).
WOULD I go out with someone that DOESN'T have a car? NO.... SO if that makes me shallow... then so be it! I will wave to you from the comfort of MY brand new car while you're waiting for a cab with your date...
One more thing.... I was married and have dated wonderful NICE GUYS that had money and a car and lots of wonderful possessions.... but now I have to wonder how is it that I was NEVER treated like a trophy and flat-out DIRT, I was NEVER in a hospital beat up, raped, abused or any of those nonsensical comments you made about women being with men who have materials.... so please.. JUST because you DON'T have them.. doesnt mean you can suggest that the men WITH THEM, gives them license to treat women like garbage in exchange for a "car"....
This is MY last post on this topic... because it's really ridiculous now.
