|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 10/27/2008 3:31:05 PM | | What a win yesterday! Dare we believe a genuine title push this year or is it another false dawn? | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 10/27/2008 5:45:04 PM | lol, i doubt it!
Good play on beating Chelsea though, but what a fluke goal it was!
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 10/28/2008 5:12:37 AM | | Great win for Liverpool...well done...Chelsea are suddenly wracked with injury problems again...The bookies still have them as favourites for the title which is a bit silly. They're not really any better than they were last year and they have serious injury problems. They'll be in with a serious chance again but surely cannot be favourites | |

| Liverpool F.C Posted: 11/5/2008 6:36:22 PM | Hello everyone......I'm back after many many months away.
Good to see a few familiar faces still here like Kirk.
While I was away I spent a little time on FaceBook's Liverpool FC site and it's just full of idiot Chelsea and Man City fans who got nothing better to do except cause arguments with the genuine Liverpool fans on the site.
Please, if their going to support another team, then they should nick off to their own fan page.
Looking forward to hearing all your banter on our premiership and champions league progress.

Great result for us and a great result for Roobbie Keane who hit a brace (two goals) in the first half to get off the mark in scoring in the Premier League for Liverpool.
Arsenals win at home to Manchester United has got to do our title chances good.
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 11/27/2008 2:23:21 AM | | not the best of games last nite but a win and 3 points is all we needed now to batter PSV in 2 weeks | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 11/30/2008 4:21:26 AM | Yeah, the Marseille game must be a little bit of a concern since we will surely be missing Torres for that game. We still need to top the group to get an "easier" tie at the next stage.

| Liverpool F.C Posted: 12/6/2008 8:45:56 AM | | at the end of the day people take this game to heart football players are on silly wages and wouldnt give a toss about normal working people unless they could make money out of it, its time people realised this that football clubs are cash cows for the rich america's and people are suffering with fat cat banks and petrol and gas and electric companys | |

|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 1/4/2009 5:28:05 AM | Three points clear.
There use to be an interesting stat that said that the team on top after Christmas to New Year period usually goes on to win the Premier.
Little wonder we are all fans in this thread when the competition is so tight and so many other good teams could still be there to snatch the title on the last day.

blimey, you seem very sure of yourself... and the reason for that is,
and the "has been's" are who exactly? love the way you had to explain yourself using the term scousers and highlight who the Spanish waiter your referring too might be...
Im sure should all scouse fans to relate to fergi in text would only have to use the term old red nose... for the message to be put across...
I see Berbie`s late winner went down like a lead balloon at dipper HQ
no new slagging off quotes yet boys? bin dipper, really, im sure that one went out with the ark....

| Liverpool F.C Posted: 1/22/2009 5:51:50 PM | | got to agree they've blown it thought they might have hung in there a bit longer but alas no its not over but cant see man utd blowing it from now to the end of season although i hope they self emplode lol | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 1/22/2009 11:56:37 PM | have to agree as much as i dont like to you need two things to win a title, luck and to play well, and Liverpool have only had one of those things so far this season and it's ran out I really thought that when they took top of the table that would have made a real charge and pulled away but it never happened :[ | |

Ive got an idea, lets change how long the season runs for, lest make it August through to Jan, jeese, there's 4 months yet! know one knows whats around the corner...
The beginning of the season, what did any red want? to be real title challengers this season, so far we're bloody well doing it, fickle fans need to get a grip. We are joint top, we are only in second on goal difference, yes utd have a game in hand, but so what? they cant loose a game? they haven't lost one or drawn a couple this season?
This title race has the potential to be one of the best for years, right now, there are only 6 pts between 1st and 5th position. I'd say every single one of them has a shot. (ok, mainly mancs, reds, chavs and villa, but Ars e may just bring it back)
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 1/23/2009 4:05:47 PM | yeah but lets be honest, it's more than likely United will go on their usual second half season march, they have all the other top teams all at home, hope I'm wrong but believe me im glad we are at the moment challenging but I am dissapointed in the way the team has let it slip, you'd think after waitin so long for a title challenge that when actually gettin to top the league that they'd think to themselves right this is in our hands now let's do it, but they just aren't playing like a team that want to win the league | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 1/25/2009 12:40:42 PM | | the difference with utd and liverpool and my team arsenal is they don't seem to be carrying any players in their team whilst with the other two you could name quite a few ie; kyte, lucas, full backs, benynoon lol adebayor, eboue, denilson etc and the strength in depth is heavily in utds favour plus playing main rivals at home so it all points to one outcome but i do hope I'm wrong. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 1/26/2009 2:28:04 AM | Before Liverpool make a success on the field they need to sort out what goes on behind the scenes.
Hicks and Gillet, would you kindly go back to where you came from, sell up to someone who will actually release funds for the manager to spend.
Robbie Keane has been a big disappointment, but he is still a class player, something which can be said of the likes of LUCAS, BABEL, DOSSENA.
No rumours of any activity in the transfer window which isn't a good sign for a team obviously struggling to score goals. Can't rely on Stevie G to come up with the goods week in week out...
We need a poacher [Robbie Fowleresque] to help Torres up front, not the International wonder that is NGOG who couldn't hit a barn door with a handful of dried peas....
Fingers out lads, don't let the season just fade away.....
