That little Russian has been lucky for a while then...I seem to remember him setting the Euro's on fire with his quality in quite a few games. Top top player...and to think the deal almost fell through!!!!
wasnt he linked with both Liverpool and UTS before he went to asrenal?
defending was awful.
on better news... King Kenny has confirmed he would like to return...
Last weeks Echo may have just been on target! GET IN!!!!

guessing you missed his second touch of the game then going on tonight he can finish wrapping presents...about it
I'm guessing you've haven't been watching him play for the last couple of years then!!! Any time you smack home four goals...two of them world class hits from either foot...well you're doing a little better than most

| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/23/2009 4:23:23 AM | | Its weird seeing Micheal Owen celebrating in a Manchester United shirt. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/23/2009 6:02:54 AM | | perdro you are talking so much bile obviously bitter towards united, and yea torres made a great judgement going to liverpool what has he won since moving to liverpool nowt while united have won it all, man utd are far superior to liverpool has a club. the germans all see united in that top 3 of the best clubs in the world. who are champions of england oh yes man utd and that ties united with liverpools 18. domestic terms if you take out europe united are more succesful then liverpool and anfield is a shit hole it will be torn down, and long term old trafford will be still around long after anfield is torn down and replaced with a souless ground. there is a reason why old trafford is called the theatre of dreams because no one does it quiet like united, it is like hollywood writes uniteds maches its unbelievable. the amount of last minute winners, go look at the 98/99 season that is the most epic and the most exciting season in football history. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/23/2009 12:40:01 PM | "go look at the 98/99 season that is the most epic and the most exciting season in football history"
i know Jason you are kidding me, thanks for the laugh!
how you dare say that Anfield is a shit hole? Anfield is the Temple of British Football, whereas Old Trafford is a Theatre of Pansies
now seriously, you should stop smoking that kind of thing you smoke, that is what it makes you say that 98/99 has been the most epic and most exciting season in football, how you dare! you have not see much football!
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/24/2009 6:55:39 AM | jason why the **** would you even express an opinion on a Liverpool FC forum? cause we can obviously tell your very bitter & that you come up alot of bollocks. man united is a business not a club, they sold there soul along time ago. there is no passion nor brilliant songs & chants bein sung on the terrarces of old trafford!!
Liverpool FC is the most succesful english team. 5 european cups & 18 leagues.... PHHHHWWWOOOAAARRRR!!!

| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/24/2009 11:55:01 AM | Justin Credible =P look at your american owners who see liverpool run has a buisness who will raise ticket prices to deal with the debts mounting at the club just like whats happening at united. just deal with the fact liverpool are just a buisness now, the difference is man utd know how to make the club run succesfully has a buisness and thats one of many reasons why you are jelous, liverpool are an ageing and outdated club. their stadium is a shit hole their fans like you live in the past and liverpool have not only failed to win a league title in nearly 2 decades but they have won nothing since 2006 4 years since they won a big trophy and that was an awful squad. the last time liverpool had a great side was in the 80s and that was a lng long time ago. deal with it united have just overtaken liverpool has englands most succesful club united are the greatest club in britain, celtic and rangers can be called britains most succesful clubs not united and livepool. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/24/2009 12:07:41 PM | Pedro 1976 and yes I think anfield is a shit hole, it will be knocked down within 5 to 10 years old trafford will still be standing. and its way behind bernabeu old trafford and the camp nou. theatre of pansies just shut up you idiot back it up with a proper statement moran, look at your own club which in my eyes is the most souless crowd I have ever seen, you cant even sell out the bernebeu in a normal spanish game so the club are so deparete they do an idiotic show afterwards and have 2 make the museum free to sell tickets. do real madrid have a strong following or just glory hunters propably the latter. barcelona and man utd build teams madrid buys them because they are so bad at finding talent.
the 99 season is the most epic season and go look at it in full in the amount of last minute winners, winning in extra time, coming back from 2 0 to a great juventus side with zidane and davids in their prime and winning with 10 men. oh it is the most exciting season I have ever seen 98/99 playing some of the best football played, didnt united make history by being the first side in the game to win the 3 major prizes in one season. and unlike most teams today it was mostly home grow.
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/25/2009 11:46:18 AM | "look at your own club which in my eyes is the most souless crowd I have ever seen, you cant even sell out the bernebeu in a normal spanish game.... do real madrid have a strong following or just glory hunters propably the latter. barcelona and man utd build teams madrid buys them because they are so bad at finding talent"
Jason your ignorance is worrying! where do you get your information from? from a rubbish bin? Bernabeu gets sold out almost always, when i was a kid it used to have 120000 spectators on Sundays, you know, when stadiums did not have proper seats as you see today. after UEFA ruled about seats, Bernabeu has 80000 seats more or less and usually it gets sold out. go and have at look at the last matches.
the same with Barcelona, do you really think that the shit hole of Barcelona gets sold out always? it does not! usually but not always as Bernabeu! get your facts right Jason!
as for Barcelona building teams and Madrid buying them, well do you mean the new player Ibrahimovich signed by Barca? how much money have they paid including the money received by Inter because of Etoo? tell me Jason.... it is really easy slag off Madrid because of Ronaldo and the money Madrid has paid, but you see that the scum of Barcelona has paid almost the same amount to sign Ibrahimovich.
by the way, look at yourself Jason before talking of Madrid, you know, your club was taking over by north americans, rich north americans! their knowledge of football is similar to mine of developing space rockets!
at least Madrid belongs to its members not to a bloody foreigner.

| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/25/2009 12:08:30 PM | pedro 1976 I was one of the fans protesting against the glazer takeover, I wrote two letters 1 to the premier league 1 to the FA asking them to try and block the glazer takeover but got no responce because lets be real they are such diots running the game it is hilerious. the bernabeu is just brilliant I rate it has europes best stadium and the best stadium in world football its miles better than camp nou and old trafford. I envy real madrid on that front and I envy real madrid has a squad which is the best squad in world football, my tip to win la liga and the europen cup is real madrid. in cristiano ronaldo madrid have the most versitile player in the game, he can play right left and upfront. he is the most deadly goal scorer, he is awesome at free kicks who ronaldo was far better than beckham on free kicks, and his deadly strikes no defender goal keepers would hate to save. in attack you also add kaka benzama raul Higuain add players like van nistlerooy guti who all can chip in with goals. you add midfield duo alonzo diarra with the likes of gago and diarra its an awesome outfit if they can get it right at the back they will ba hard to stop. barca may suffer with lack of depth in attack. but barca bring through loads of home grown talent that madrid man utd dont. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/25/2009 12:24:48 PM | | wasn't Barca the best squad in world football according to you? you change so suddenly! | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/25/2009 12:57:49 PM | pedro 1976 that was last season in the 08/09 season but real madrids big spending over the summer the balance of power has shifted. add the fact that madrids board and management have not shafted out loads of players like L diarra gago higuen raul guti van nistlerooy because of new players brought in. they have thought of its gonna take a squad game, look how they did things in the 03/04 season where they sold all the squad players and relied on the big names and academy and they collapsed with lack of strength in depth. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/25/2009 1:10:18 PM | "united are the greatest club in britain"
are you smoking that kind of thing again? Liverpool are the greatest club not only in England but in Britain, and that shit hole as you call it is a legendary football temple. here in Spain many sporting journalists call it the Temple. can you tell me another football stadium with such a great atmosphere and support apart from Ibrox Park in Scotland?
to become great you must lift trophies, and Liverpool have lifted more international titles than those who dwell in the Theatre of Erotic Nightmares.
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/25/2009 2:04:10 PM | | is that right who currently is winning trophys not liverpool its man utd what has torres won since moving to liverpool nowt. in 3 seasons man utd have won 3 league titles a european cup 2 carling cups 2 comunity shields and a world club cup that says to me that is a club that has been great, have you heard celtic park which is far louder than ibrox and anfield. liverpool last won a trophy was 2006 the last time they won a major trophy was 4 years ago. united have won more fa cups then liverpool they have the same amount of league titles has liverpool and are only 2 behind liverpool in european cups there is not much in it. both man utd and barcelona are more glamerous exciting and bigger clubs than liverpool and they play far btter football. old trafford in 10 years will still be standing anfield will not, its small unbalanced ground and you cannot really add to the stadium. old trafford could still be exteneded and reach up to 96.000 fans and it makes double the money for matches than anfield, I would not swap old trafford for anfield. the kop is horrible stand it makes anfield even more hideos. man utd in their history have won 57 trophys so you are saying both man utd and barcelona are not great clubs because they are behind madird and liverpool, also barca is spains greatest club. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/25/2009 6:16:37 PM | "what has torres won since moving to liverpool nowt"
torres only scored the most ever amount of goals in his 1st season in the premirship, no other player in the history of english football has done that.
& when it comes 2 stadiums, Anfield is easily the best stadium in english football with the best set of fans in. Anfield is regarded alot more historic than old trafford. old trafford is silent on match days. you wanna get yourself 2 Anfield on a european match it'll blow you away.
best european cup final...liverpool v ac milan best uefa cup final... liverpool v deportivo alaves best F.A cup final...liverpool v west ham best fans in english football...liverpool fans. need i say more jason? jason lad, u know ****all, mate!
You'll Never Walk Alone -JUSTICE FOR THE 96-
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/26/2009 11:23:31 AM | Justin Credible =P I can come up with facts that bolws your points of view out of the water.so torres scoring loads of goals does not clowd the fact where has it lead torres in terms of medal collection nothing. look where cristiano ronaldo is now who blitz torres goals record and the awads and trophy collection. its simple old trafford will still be around long after anfield is knocked down. united will still have old trafford, and liverpool will not. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/27/2009 12:04:54 PM | i was wrong Jason, i meant Celtic park not Ibrox, home Rangers, my fault!
now you have just proven you know nothing about football by saying that Barca are the Spain's greatest club, are you drunk again? Madrid have 31 league titles, how many have Barca won? Madrid have 9 European Cups/Champions Leagues, how many have Barca won? if you know nothing about Britain, how the hell about a foreign place, Spain?
can you tell me a domestic league with a club having won the title more than 30 times? perhaps in Scotland with Celtic i might say, no? that says a lot of Madrid being powerful through the years.
i may agree that Barca have always perfomed brilliantly, but no-one remembers the one who plays better but the one who lifts trophies! and Madrid always have lifted more titles than Barca, fact!
Man United may be bigger than Liverpool in terms of income, TV rights, etc but Liverpool are greater than them, the greatest in Britain together with Celtic in terms of titles. and yes Old Trafford is a joke compared to Anfield.
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/27/2009 5:57:27 PM | pedro 1976 you have shown you have known nothing, I will say this time and time again old trafford will be standing in 10 years anfield will not, and it will still be around long after anfield is knocked down. liverpool are an outdated club living in the past whil united could very well overtake liverpool on league titles this year, andif they win a european cup before liverpool, united will be englands most succesful club. | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 9/28/2009 3:04:11 AM | Sorry if I'm wrong, but did Torres win the European Championship in 2008
More to the point Torres is 4 goals away from making history for Liverpool.

| Liverpool F.C Posted: 10/14/2009 2:56:20 AM | | read that benitez wants emile heskey from aston villa when transfer open in january! don't understand what they see in a guy that is a reserve for aston villa..the team really need a new winger and maybe a central midfielder... | |
|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 10/14/2009 3:21:48 AM | ^^^^ If that is actually true and not mere speculation, then that really sums up Benitez! The guy is losing the plot, I hope you guys keep him for long...

|
| Liverpool F.C Posted: 10/14/2009 8:48:30 AM | | i loved benitez for the champions league effort, but i think its about time to look for something else. the players he have gotten in have been some what "interesting". voronin, lucas, keane..... | |
