They were usually calssified as drug users, traffickers, gang members, violent people, etc. Times change and now it's cool to have a Harley!
The same said about piercings and tatoo's.
Footnote: The only thing tht has not changed about women on a Harley is that they still love the feel of second gear - LOL!

It was small and very shinny. When I first met her I told her she had some glitter on her nose which made her laugh. I guess she thought I was trying to be cute but I really thought she had glitter on her nose. LOL. Anyways, I think a SMALL tatt on the lower back looks good from behind if ya know what I mean.

scientistguy... your entitled to your opinion like everyone else here.. so i'm going to give you mine... just because people have tatts doesnt mean they dont have very good careers/went to college etc.. your stereotyping !... I've been in the same career choice for 11 yrs now and also have my own company...
I myself have 5 tatt's... horse head (back left shoulder), dream catcher (right back shoulder), black panther (right hip), sunflower/vines (lower back) and horseshoe (on outter left top thigh)I can hide them or show them depending on 'where i'm going, or doing'... mine were all done very tastefully and I designed 4 of the 5, and they all mean something special to me. I as well have my belly button pierced with a horseshoe charm hanging from it (neatly combined with my tan of course) lol...
To each their own..
^5's to all my inked fishing friends !!!!!!!!!!!

Different strokes for different folks though. I know I dont appeal to all women either. It's your body, do what you want with it.
My preference would be for a lady with minimal tats or peircings.
Then again I am sure that out there somwhere there are pleny of women that like their men with more visual edge to them.

I said:
"For tatoos, I figure that either they don't have a college degree, or identify culturally and intellectually with those who don't."
Given that you choose to wear the uniform shared by many people from that certain strata (that I want nothing to do IRL with myself), it sounds to me as if you identify with them. Someone who did not would never have one. I saw a guy one time with a tattoo on his forehead that read "F**k Management". I bet his lifetime career achievement level (to say nothing of what kind of mate he had any kind of shot at) were not the highest. Anyone ever seen a tattoo indicating having gone to Harvard/MIT, gotten a Ph.D., a Phi Beta Kappa membership, having been class valedictorian, having graduated from a U.S. Military Academy, having gotten a law or medical degree, or the like? Me neither.
You also said:
"mine were all done very tastefully"
Sorry. I don't believe that a tatoo can be tasteful. They differ IMO in how severe a pointless voluntary untasteful disfigurement they are, that's all.
BTW, for anyone here that is young (and might mature enough to regret it later) and considering actually getting a tattoo, at least avoid the colored ink ones, such as the green type, in favor of black. The latter are easier to remove later on (at >10x the cost they ran to acquire them in the first place). Too, at least get the things where they won't show in a job interview, so you're not as likely to spend the rest of your life working on a loading dock or in an alternative music record store.

Cuz I don't see it happening anytime soon lol. If a woman showed up at my door with tatoos and a belly ring She would do 2 things, 1 Rock my world and 2 get the deed to my land? Posted: 4/9/2005 11:31:29 AM | I have to put my two cents on here..lol I read earlier that one man thought tats were getting boring because they all seemed to be in the same place- small of back, ankle etc. My point is there aren't many places where gravity doesn't take it's toll later on in life. It's all well and good to see a hot 19 year old with a tatty around her belly button...but have a couple kids and tell me if it looks so hot now..lol. Well thought out tattoos are placed where they will look good for years to come because as we all know- they is foreva!..just my two cents..
PS- tats are hot but I'm not so much on piercings....I have enough holes in my body..he he
