| How many men here really find women with body piercing and tattoos atttractive?
Posted: 5/8/2005 5:32:28 PM | I love tattoo's and piercings on a gal unless they're a bit overboard.
By overboard I mean when every possible spot on their face has metal sticking out of it or when they have skulls and demon heads all over their bodies (ala biker tattoo's from 25 yrs ago). Really, I don't care if a gal has a full arm sleeve as long as its something tasteful and more artistic then dumb death imagery. | |

Posted: 5/20/2005 2:43:13 PM | My perspective on this is that my Tattoo is very personal to me. I got it done to express my individuality and for profound spiritual reasons. So if I guy doesn't like it, then we couldn't possibly be compatible.
That being said - there's nothing sexier than A Tattoo on a man, in my opinion.... | |

Sorry. I don't believe that a tatoo can be tasteful. They differ IMO in how severe a pointless voluntary untasteful disfigurement they are, that's all.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion just as you have stated yours... just for the record hon... MY TATTOO'S are VERY TASTEFUL...... some colored... some not... I'd be glad to share them with you as they are on my website.. email me and I'll give you the link... see for yourself !
If you are seriously going to 'toss out' any gal that has a tattoo.. your not going to be left with many to choose from... lol...... I say more ppl have tatties than don't now a days...
just my 2cents worth :)

Posted: 5/20/2005 5:33:50 PM | | Personally body piercing dosen't do anything for me on woman or a man. Nature gave us all the holes we need. Earings on a woman okay, probably because I grew up conditioned to that and it can be quite attractive. On a man,...no, but if you're dumb enough to have someone punch a hole through your ear lobe be my guest. Tattoos don't look good on a man or a woman for the most part. Especially large ones. If you must, keep them small and few. If done right I guess they can add to the mystic of a person but I find far to often they're to loud and gaudy. | |

Posted: 5/28/2005 9:48:11 PM | I think tattooing is definitely sexy on a woman. It doesn't have to be anything "cute". It's just one of those things I like. I have a few of my own, but they are all things I feel are important to me to express somewhere on my body. I'm not saying those who feel otherwise are sexist, but personally, I hold women to the same standards I hold myself to.. I really don't feel there's anything I should be able to get away with a woman shouldn't also be able to get away with. Reading about the history of female urinals kinda made my heart sink, though. 
Piercings, I'm kind of neutral about. Just as long as they're not really excessive, I don't really care, but even if they were, if the female wearing them was otherwise a cool gal, I wouldn't care. I'd just make a mental note to be a bit more careful. | |

Some piercings are okay, but since everything under the sun has been pierced, they're not that original anymore. I, for one, appreciate the effort I've put into making my body and skin look the way it does and would hate to ruin it. As for girls with tattoos, is it really an expression anymore? Are you expressing your individuality with that Chinese writing on your lower back? Guys, do you think you look any better with barbed wire on your arm? Kudos to those who at least choose something and somewhere that's not common to their peers. | |
