| What is your favourite Beatles Album/Song???
Posted: 8/2/2007 3:07:19 PM | I like the first half of the White Album and the whole of Abbey Road. This was when the Beatles started to get on each other's nerves and Lennon/McCartney wrote/recorded their songs almost separately. Lots of good music came out of those last few tension filled years.

However, a couple of my favourites would be:

Happiness Is a Warm Gun
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
The Ballad of John and Yoko
Okay, so that's a little more than "a couple".
But really, how do you pick?!
Then John comes along and adds some of the greatest songs of all time to the Beatles huge list of them.
I'll never forget the shock and horror of the day he was shot...

Posted: 12/3/2007 12:46:49 PM | My favorite Beatles song is Yesterday and Hey Jude. I used to watch the Beatles concerts on TV when they were together and I used to kill myself laughing at all these girls screaming and carrying on in the audience, it looked so ridiculous, they were and are only guys! I couldn't see myself making a fool out of myself doing that at a concert but I enjoyed watching it, anyway! When I used to laugh at these girls in the audience screaming and carrying on like that, my father was in the kitchen wondering what I was laughing at and would come into the front room to find out the reason behind it but I was laughing so hard that I couldn't tell him!
I could never figure out why these girls did that for, unless it was just excitement of being at a concert, I don't know but to me they were and are only guys, even though they were the best singing group around and still are as far as I am concerned! | |
