I thought the hills all burned down around there. It's not like they've been rained on recently or anything.

| whats up with all of the women? Posted: 6/21/2007 12:13:35 AM | It happened again tonight. I was interrupted from work I was doing by an IM message. It was from a guy I have never met with whom I have exchanged email and chatted briefly a couple of times before. He lives about 3 hours drive from me. Less than 1 minute into the conversation, he starts making sexy comments. I tried to divert the conversation, but he kept coming back to sex. I finally decided to stop being nice so I bluntly told him I am not intereseted in casual affairs or one night stands. Suddenly he had work that needed to get done and he signed off. GRRRRRRRRRR. | |

For me, a three hour drive is too inconvenient, even for a booty call with benefits type of relationship. Would you have considered a simple pen-pal with benefits type of relationship?

Maybe, I would have considered it and have several online relationships of that sort without the BENEFITS. But HE only wants to talk about sex, and when I said I will continue the conversation if we can talk about something else, he immediately exited and has not been back since. It is rather obvious that he is NOT interested in having penpals. NO LOSS!

| whats up with all of the women? Posted: 7/12/2007 9:36:44 AM | | Why do women stay on here if they are "taken?" It seems logical that if you show up on a search on a dating site, that you are still saying you are available if only to find back up men. I've always wondered this about women who stay on these sites and then get upset that men email them. | |

Why do women stay on here if they are "taken?"
Because they have friends here and don't want to just dump them.
It seems logical that if you show up on a search on a dating site, that you are still saying you are available if only to find back up men.
If that's so "logical", why do profiles have "talk/email" and "friends" as choices?
I've always wondered this about women who stay on these sites and then get upset that men email them.
Have you tried reading a profile before sending mail?
