It is actually possible for the clothes washer (not dryer) to lose small articles of clothing when it drains the water. True story, the clothes washer was clogged because someones undies were stuck down the drain pipe from the washer.
But it's far more likely someone is taking it intentionally/unintentionally. Do people use public laundromats, in-building laundry, or in-unit/house laundry machines? I've seen people take other peoples laundry out of the dryer and then put theirs in, come back and take it back out, and put the previous persons laundry back in the dryer.
And on the topic of ew:
One person I lived with, had several caged pets, but never changed the bedding for long periods of time. How is it that someone can't smell urine/ammonia? | |
