My reply is going to be more about how I just don't understand some people. Like you said you have done everything except actual intercourse well to me that is kind of defeating the purpose no. Like come on if you are doing everything but you just might as well go one step further god is known to forgive. Obviously I don't share his belief but it just sounds strange to me. But well I guess it is his belief. For your question if I found someone I knew I couldn't live without ya I'd definitely wait but they would have to be simply amasing. I believe this is kind of a stupid belief because to me this would just kind of put pressure on marriage in a way and well this is a big decision that shouldn't be taken lightly and well I don't think there should be any pressure at all. But then I guess doing some things will help keep you sane until then so just count your blessings man he could believe in not even seeing you in your birthday suit until marriage which I almost believe religion is trying to push. Like come on 2 adults naked this guy really must have some self control as I must admit it would be hard to play and then just stop. Doesn't he get blue balls.

You didn't state what his reasoning was for waiting. Religious, Virginity etc. If it is based on morals and values... then one should respect those. What if it was the reverse situation? You wanted to wait until marriage... how would you feel if he wanted to end it based on that? There are very few great guys out there and it seems like you have one from what you stated. Keep him! Think of the wedding night! You have something to look forward to. The only part I have a hard time understanding is.. he will do everything else but intercourse. Usually it is all or nothing. Most don't do half way.
