Posted: 10/2/2008 1:53:14 AM | | Wowee! This post has been a real eye opener for me. Until now, I believed sex stopped for women at 50. A misguided male friend of mine sold me this story 5 years ago and I believed him - my God, what an ignoramus he is! Listening to all these wonderful 50 plus women who seem to enjoy great sex after 50. To think I used to envy men because they can go on forever while we women conked out at 50! And to listen to the senior ladies, it seems it's the opposite problem - men can't keep up with the libido of 50 plus ladies! | |

Until now, I believed sex stopped for women at 50.
Sex has always been possible and even present for women at and above 50. Even before "little blue pills," it was a matter of attitude more than physiology.
Now that we do have little blue pills, men can keep up (pun intended) with the libido of 50-plus women.
And sex is still great at almost 60!

Yes, sex over 40 or 50 is great! No more worries about pregnancy, no little kids knocking on the door just at "the moment." Once you get to this age, you realize how much you have going for you, how much you know, how much you'll put up with from a man (not much!) and a wealth of knowledge in a lot of other areas.
And a plus - this seems to be the era for younger men, older women! | |

Your wife needs hormones. They make all the difference in the world. HRT got a bad wrap but there are bio identical hormones and I am really glad I found them! | |

Seriously, my folks are 79 and 78, and have been married since they were 17 and 15. They still have an happy and active sex life. So....I got good genes! | |
