Posted: 2/6/2007 5:44:52 PM | I went to the Groundhog Pub for a POF event in December and it was pretty fun. However, that night it was only Karokee and no D.J. It's good but can get tiresome after a while.
Will there be also be a D.K for this event rather than only Karokee?

Posted: 2/7/2007 9:22:59 PM | There normally isn't a DJ at the groundhog. There was going to be on on NYE but some problems with the equipment, took care of that.
The karaoke is fun at the groundhog, I don't personally sing, but I've been going there for years, and there's hardly ever a dull moment. | |

Posted: 2/8/2007 4:25:54 PM | Ok, guys... gotta drum up a little excitement for this one. It's gotten off to a bit of a slow start... come one, come all... and bring all your friends! Single or not, this is the place to be in Toronto on Saturday night. Karaoke nights at the Groundhog are always a fun night and this is going to be no exception.
Even if it's not a big crowd, our smaller turnouts are just as fun... if you check the day of and it still looks relatively quiet, don't be discouraged! Come out! Have fun! It's not the quantity of the people who show up, it's the quality, that makes it such a great time!
That being said, though, the phrase "the more the merrier" also comes to mind, so make sure to spread the word!

Hopefully it's gonna be more than like 6 people, but even if it's only 6, it's gonna be a case of quality over quantity like Christine said ;)
I've never lived so close to the groundhog before. which will make it easier for me. | |

Remember just over a year ago when no one was hosting events? Now everyone and their brother seems to be hosting, lol. I even got spammed by one of the people hosting an event on the same night... geez! You would think that perhaps upon looking at my profile, they would have seen the last posts made in this thread, but I guess they were just interested in drumming up people to sign up to that event, they didn't even notice. | |
