| Is true love a myth or reality?? Posted: 11/26/2005 2:40:05 PM | | I think true love exists. I have no doubt that it's out there somewhere. My inability thus far to find it, I regard as my greatest failure as a human being. | |

| Is true love a myth or reality?? Posted: 2/12/2006 10:12:09 PM | Of course not. You must be more relaxed in your search, maybe you are trying to hard or not enough?? Maybe it is just not your time yet. Keep your chin up and think possitive thoughts!!!!! I'm a firm believer in possitive energy and if you are putting off the negative.well thats what you get in return, say a prayer and light a candle and see what happens in a week. MAMANINJA | |

| Is true love a myth or reality?? Posted: 4/17/2006 6:44:45 AM | One of my passions in this life is to find that one person in the world to share a true life long love with. What is true love you ask? I will give you my definition. True love is the bond that transcends the mortal body and connects two souls and hearts together. This bond is made up of many elements love, caring, passion, sex, self sacrifice, and honesty. When any of these agents begin to break down the true love becomes corrupted and the bond weakens and turns into hurt, anger, depression, and abuse of the other’s spirit. So each person involved in the true love experience must always strive to do their best to cherish and nourish each of these elements.
When two people come together under the umbrella of true love both know that they are no longer alone in the world, that they have some one to trust and help them carry life’s burdens. There spirits are raised and they become content with themselves their partners and the world.
The difficulty with finding that kind of love is 1. Recognizing who that potential special person is when he or she comes into your life 2. Getting to know, learn and understand the other person and how they feel about each of the elements of true love I mention above. 3. Time. You must give each other enough time to demonstrate, test and prove there capacity to remain true to the spirit of each element of true love. 4. Commitment: each person must be committed to maintaining and nourishing each element. This means taking an active role by constantly expressing by words and deeds your commitment to each of these elements.
I believe that such a person comes along once in a lifetime. All of the elements of true love will not just happen to fall into place right away Each element must be stress tested under everyday real world situations to see if both partners can maintain there love, trust and devotion to each other.
Every true love will face advertises, be tested by disappointments, fear and trust issues. It is how we learn to deal with and treat each other when these issues arise that will define if we will be able to have and hold on to a true love experience.

| Is true love a myth or reality?? Posted: 3/15/2008 7:07:13 PM | | True love is possible in many parts of the world but not in the U.S., particularly in big cities. Women are too obsessed with men's wallet size and occupation and appearance, and men are too obsessed with appearance, for true love to exist in our shallow, brainwashed nation. I'm sure it's still alive in other parts of the world where people don't base everything around money and don't let their TV sets do their thinking for them the way Americans do. But the U.S. has by far the highest national debt level of any country, and we are pretty inferior from a moral and spiritual standpoint as well......just an overly competitive society where everyone is in it for themselves and struggles with the concept of genuinely caring about anyone else. | |

I had the reality version of true love for many years.Once he left a single stem rose on the seat of the truck. Another time a surprise candle light dinner, soft music all at the kitchen table...Reality does need to be sprinkled with a little movie romance..sometimes, old fashion is very good. I have found someone at this site ..too soon to say but perhaps...............Hepburn and Tracey ?
