Do you find it attractive in somebody if they like to make
a point of view in an almost rude and aggressive manner and
have to resort to use insults and put downs
When insults are used then their opinion invalidates.
Similar to here on the forums , when insults are thrown their debate is lost and shows a lack of debating skills or lack of knowledge on the topic.
From the winners perspective its very attractive !!
Do you like a person more who can get their opinion across in
a calm and cool way even if it makes them look weak and feeble
and that it seems like they dont have any passion in them...
I have no time for the weak and feeble , calm or otherwise . If your gonna voice an opinion then feckin' voice it !!
would you find somebody with an attitude problem interesting
even if they liked to be original in their thoughts and opinions
and not follow the crowd but were seen as a trouble maker
for not doing so...

Someone who can put their point across and stand their ground on issues that they are passionate about is damn sexy. Though to have the humility to say 'ok, I was wrong' if that be the case is important too. | |

Posted: 8/10/2008 7:40:04 AM | Depends on how much of it is spoken from the ego, and how much of it is based on speaking wisdom, knowledge, and truth. The way they explain their reasons is their chance to influence me. I understand that everyones opinions are the result of their own life experience, so its sometimes easy to disagree, based on your own life experiences. When they get really on one and really passionate and seem to want to win an argument or something, trying to get you to see things from their way, then that gets on my tits. Lastly, in social settings, when there is intoxication involved, it gets worse!  | |

People that resort to insults and make it personal are usually on the verge of losing the debate and try the last ditch atempt to get their point over. I love a good debate, I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they get a point over. | |
