Hmmm... yes I am eccentric, I collect:

Books; particularly 1st editions; my collection at this time is 6000 + books, I never seem to stop hunting for a nice beautiful story.

I also collect art prints, paintings, movies, bone china, and music. One never stops collecting once they have started; it seems to spread out into several others areas all with an original connection to the start of your first passionate collection.

LMAO MKD, don't worry about it, I save every box my shoes have come in, but I do save them, as well as other decent boxes, for Christmas gifts. I had a girlfriend laugh at me for collecting boxes, until she came knocking on my door one Christmas to ask for some boxes.

Well, collecting handcuffs doesn't seem so out there compared to people who collect "E-Bayana".

They're illegal here, best bet is to stop in at an army surplus store in Grand Forks or Fargo, they have a martial arts section & sell nunchuks, shurikens, blowguns and ninja climbing claws ( all illegal in Canada btw).

I don't have any nunchuks, shurikens, or blowguns

Darn. Now you tell me. I kid.
Still...

Anyways, I collect swords. Usually anything unique or from a video game. I also collect knives. Ok I know what your gonna say. Im dangerous. But I do have a small passion for collecting stuffed cows. Not bears because they are tooooooooo common, but cows. So far, I got like 50 and they each have a name. :D

Nuthin wrong with that, but do they each talk to you ? If they do maybe you shouldn't collect sharp or pointy objects

I have a few neat knives that caught my eye , not sure enuf to call a collection.

I have a model train collection that I started in my teens. I stopped collecting in my teens as well, but always maintained interest.
