| Bay City area Meet & Greet FEB. 17th Posted: 1/10/2007 6:56:16 PM | Hi Cosmic,
Thank you for the invitation and for putting this together!!! I think it is a great way to bring people together... I may bring a friend along as well. We love the blues and love Bay City... If you need help, let me know, and maybe I will be able to do so. How can we get more guys aboard??? Hopefully the snow won't be arriving that weekend!

| Bay City area Meet & Greet FEB. 17th Posted: 1/11/2007 8:48:32 AM | Count me in....it'll be a long drive (coming from Lake St Clair area of Detroit) so it'll depend on the weather, but I'll plan nonetheless.
Btw, I found the Internet site for Lumber Baron's Grill & Pub in the The Stables. It has directions, menu, pics, etc., all in one convenient place. I recommend bookmarking it for easy reference....

| Bay City area Meet & Greet FEB. 17th Posted: 1/12/2007 6:19:45 AM | Thanks, cos
I did a search for hotels/motels near the restaurant and the closest I found was a place called Perry's Grand Arlington Hotel ( http://local.yahoo.com/details?id=31617796 ). It looks like it's only a couple blocks from the restaurant. Cos, do you know if it's any good?
There's also a Fairfield Inn ( http://local.yahoo.com/details?id=16340843 ) about 2 miles northeast, and a bunch of cheaper motels fairly close, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I've found it's worth the extra $20 - $30 bucks to stay in a nicer place and have piece of mind. | |

| Bay City area Meet & Greet FEB. 17th Posted: 1/12/2007 4:05:53 PM | | Sounds like a lot of fun. I've signed up, but like other ppl... the weather has a lot to do with my coming. I'm driving from Tawas. That's about 1 1/2 hrs north of there. I checked out the web site....looks like a really nice place and thanks motown for the info on the motels, etc. I for one will NOT drive home that night....lol. Hope to see everyone there. | |

| Bay City area Meet & Greet FEB. 17th Posted: 1/13/2007 10:53:38 AM | To everyone who has never been to Bay City, it is one awsome town, loaded with antique shops, quaint pubs, and the atmosphere is totally different than any other town. The perfect place for a 'Meet and Greet'. You are surrounded by water, fantistic yacts and beautiful bridges. Please plan on attending , you will not regret the commute - I promise. GD | |
