Posted: 1/15/2007 8:41:39 AM | Sheesh, I just read how much of a disaster the recent Grand Rapids Greet and Meet was. The poor woman that organized it is out $800 of her own money because many people said they'd be there but weren't, so she had to absorb most of the fee of reserving the banquent room and all the catered food.
Cos, I hope our Bay City gathering isn't under similar circumstances? If you need money to reserve anything, please, let us know. It's not a burden you should have to shoulder alone.
Like I said, the only thing that would keep me frm coming is a last minute emergency or terrible weather.

No one should ever offer to put up money for something for people they never met or don't know chit about! The host of the Flint POF parties lost a lot of money too! I wanted to warn you of this but didn't want to sound like a party pooper!
