we met in person this afternoon, for coffee not for beer
and agreed to meet this evening at the palimino club
i was game, the first was fine, so I guess I'll try the pub
I hung around and saw some faces that I have seen before
there were a few that looked right back, maybe three or four
I finally saw that girl I'd met and walked over to say hi
but the moment was gone from the afternoon, I heaved a pof sigh
I finished my beer and headed out, determined to not feel beat
I wasn't missed, in less that a minute, a new guy took my seat
I hope that ya'll had lots of fun and maybe made a connection
I can't think of a funny line to use with the word erection
So thank you for your time dear miss, yes you know who you are
and thank you for being polite when I saw you at the bar
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm blind, if so then correct me
we'll try another afternoon, of coffee, pop or tea. | |

Had a great time! I had a name tag.. but im sure it fell off (there wasnt really anywhere to put it on my shirt)

 I want to give special thanks to Eternity20, shadow21 ,Matreshka and so many more who all did more for me than they ever might know.
I will make it my first priority to make time for future events, as a past friend told me I need to get a life and socialize, and all of you are great people. | |
