Posted: 1/10/2007 1:45:35 PM | hey micro there's nothing wrong with "you light up my life". i sang that song (solo) for my 8th grade graduation (at the age of 13). it was not listed on the ceremony bill because it was a surprise for my parents. i didn't want then to know anything about it. i loved singing that song in front of 250 people, i thought it was great!!!
i guess that's why i have no problem singing in front of anyone at all!!!
the entire chior class sang "the greatest love of all"..........
i believe the children are the future teach them well and let them lead the way show them all the beauty they pocess inside....................

hey micro there's nothing wrong with "you light up my life". Not at all! I LOVE that song. When I said the songs brought tears to my eyes, I meant LITERALLY. There are parts of all of those songs that are very touching, and they tend to yank on a couple of my heartstrings. i sang that song (solo) for my 8th grade graduation (at the age of 13). it was not listed on the ce the entire chior class sang "the greatest love of all"..........
Climb every mountain.... Wullis... 2) American Pie is maybe long .....but the lyrics tell a deep philisophical story that is well written and VERY Intelectual ........in noway can be construed as sappy or stupid
Not at all! I love that song too! I just think the karaokemeisters should not allow it when there are people on a waiting list to sing. Your typical Joe Wannabe doesn't give it quite the same appeal, either.

I only considered it annoying as it was one popular song that when I was Disc Jockey and Kj...! I would have to listen to ppl slaughter it all night long which then becomes a turnoff!

How about the Urine songs? 1) Sweet Pee, by Tommy Roe. How did he KNOW it was sweet? 2) Pee Strain, by Cat Stevens.
