Beleive it or not...the average time for sex lasts around 12 to 15 minutes, this is the point of insertion to orgasm.
This is 1 area of human sexuality that has much variation in data.
Average Time to Orgasm (male)
Kinsey found that 75% of all males reach orgasm within 2 minutes of penetration, and felt that it was normal, though he does note that it "may be most unsatisfactory to a wife who is inhibited or natively low in response." Way to state the obvious, doc.
Average Duration of Orgasm (male)
3-5 seconds.
Average Time to Orgasm (female)
Females in Kinsey's studies averaged a little less than 4 minutes to reach orgasm during masturbation, though for coitus it took anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.
Average Duration of Orgasm (female)
5-8 seconds. Orgasmic contractions in both sexes occur at intervals of 0.8 secon
According to pharmecutecal comapny Johnson and Johnson which did a study and timed over 1500 couples the average time to male orgasm=7.3 minutes:
So it would seem that average for a man is 2-10 min while average for a woman is 10-20
This is 1 major reason many women have never or rarely experience vaginal orgasms

Just go with the flow and have a good time and everyone will be feeling fabulous in the end.. I definately think there are more important things for criteria for picking a partner... like someone who actually cares about u... I mean i guess if it were a one night stand it would matter a bit more... but if ur having fun with someone and ur both enjoying foreplay and such then it's all good. And from what I hear majority of woman can't cum from penetration anyways... well not strictly penetration...

I used to say hey before we get started in about 20 pumps I'll be through. We starting at the same time and if the girl didn't bust before me or with me then I said she should have been concentrating like I was...
